Getty ImagesNFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reports that free agent defensive tackle Paul Soliai is scheduled to visit the Broncos.
Soliai is the top nose tackle on the 2012 free agent market. He goes 6-foot-4, 355 and could be a quick solution to Denver’s seemingly annual run defense woes.
Per La Canfora, the Dolphins are trying to re-sign Soliai. The Broncos will make their pitch first.
Florio has reported that the Falcons, Dolphins, Broncos, Chiefs, Colts, 49ers, and Patriots have all shown interest in Soliai since the free agency signing period opened.
Soliai is the No. 15 overall player on the PFT Hot 100.

He’s a very solid player, but mammoth nose tackles don’t seem to translate that well to a 4-3 front that frequently.
Is Denver switching back to a base 3-4 or did I imagine that they ever weren’t?
Miami should not have let him hit the market.
Paul you will get paid, and you should.
Broncos staying a 4-3 John Fox’s system uses big space eating DT’s as opposed to up the field 3 technique lineman. Look back to his days in Carolina he had Kris Jenkins who’s measurables compare favorably to Soliai. Will be an excellent signing if they get him.
Denver needs some size in the middle of their defense. Soliai would be a great addition.
Chiefs would be a better fit. Soliai won’t get paid if Peyton comes to town. Keep that in mind.
The Chiefs would not be a better fit for ANY player…..
They are one of the smallest markets in the league, haven’t won a playoff game in 19 years, haven’t been to a Super Bowl in 40 years, and have a desperate, pathetic owner that comes on TV and begs for high profile free agents to just talk to them.
Jeff D. just said on twitter that Soliai is at the Dolphins facility on the verge of re-signing with the team.
