I met Toomer once and he told me that Shockey was ruining Eli’s development. He used to yell at him in the huddle and yell even more when he didn’t get the ball.

The Giants have proven they can win without him. Heck even when he was still on the team for their last SB win, Shockey wasn’t on the field….He was upstairs in a luxury box partying with….

To my knowledge, the Giants have NEVER wanted him back.

Why would the Giants want to go backwards at the position?

Gotta agree with Amani Toomer, Shockey you made your bed, now lie in it.

For being an extremely average Wide Receiver, Toomer sure did/does have a big mouth…

My favorite Toomer-ism is when he called Justin Tuck “Big Midget” and said Strahan looked like he had antlers for teeth.

Average receiver but above average smack talker… props to Toomer.
