ReutersJust days after releasing him, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Cardinals have reached a five-year contract agreement with offensive tackle Levi Brown.
Much maligned throughout his Cardinals career, Brown did enjoy one of the better stretch runs of his tenure in 2011. Brown hasn’t missed a start since his rookie season, and he’s capable of playing both tackle spots.
With Brown and Jared Gaither returning to the teams they played for last year, the highest-rated offensive tackles left on the PFT Hot 100 list are Eric Winston, Marcus McNeill, Demetrius Bell, and Anthony Collins.

Marvelous. The stiff known alternately as the “human turnstile” and “matador” is coming back. After playing half-decent for the last half of his last season – as his contract was expiring. I’d rather have seen a 7th round draft choice start in his place than bring this talentless bust back for more.

Isn’t he statistically the worst LT in the NFL?
Nice!!
We are only a LT away from a better line than the Broncos. Brown is a good RT and a bad LT.
Jonathan Martin come on down from Stanford!!!!
We will know tomorrow, one way or another if Manning is AZ bound.
So does this mean they get hit with the Dead Salary for cutting his old contract and his new contract salary?
Let’s hope his steady reliability continues and that he is blocking for anyone but Kevin Kolb. Cards can have the best line and TEs in the biz and will still flop with Kolb calling the shots.
Come back to Buffalo, Demetrius!
Adrian Peterson.
Dont matter that Niners D going eat him up.
As being a Cards fan…. nooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
Does this mean they have cap room for Peyton or are bowing out?
Thank you Rod Graves

@ RT and for reasonable $$ it’s ok
Word is Cards are still in on Demetrius Bell to play LT And Brown moves to RT.
pretty sure I saw before the superbowl that Diehl (sp) the Giants lt was the worst by stats. Levi needs to be shifted to the RT and then he will be fine. He is just too big to stop any speed guys. He does run block well though.
I wonder if he wears brown levis?
At leasr he’ll be at RT so Snyder can help him out!
People forget that this guy was Pro Bowl alternate right tackle in 2009. He will obviously move to the right side and will be fine in doing so.
