Doesn’t matter whether Steve is in his “prime” or not, he brings a lot of intagibles to a team and to the locker room. He represents everything that you would want a player to be…he will make everyone around him that much better. Best wishes Steve, wish you were here in Seattle but understand why you aren’t.

Watching him struggle with bull rushers the past 3 or 4 years has been tough as he fought injuries and age. He’ll still have an occassional block where he works with the center to wall off the DT then moves up field to block the linebacker where you’ll think he still has it. But sadly, he doesn’t. If he did, he’d still be in Minnesota.

This isn’t like Matt Birk leaving for money… this is a team with one of the weakest O-lines in the league saying he’s through. He is… you’ll see in a few games.

You can tell from the photo how long he’s been a left guard. He has a 1,000 yard stare in his eyes similar to what you see in a combat soldier rotating off deployment.

Hutch WAS a tough SOB. WAS one of the best. Now? He hasn’t finished a season since 2009. He got old and injured in a hurry.

Let’s u believe that the Titans r closer to getting Manning than reported. They wouldn’t sign a guy who is unlikely to fulfill contract in order to protect Jake Locker.
