Running back Tim Hightower, who spent 2011 with the Redskins, was hiking with his wife on Camelback Mountain in Arizona. According to FOX 10 in Phoenix, the Hightowers were hiking away from a trail and got lost. Then, it became too dark for them to make it down.
Neither was injured.
Hightower is an unrestricted free agent. He appeared in five games last season before tearing an ACL.

Not gonna lie, I read that as “Brokeback.”
What a wuss.
I echo that Patsfiend, what a wuss is right. Stay home Tim, the outdoors is NOT for you.
What a dumb sh!t.
Fluorescent breadcrumbs are worth their weight in gold.

Wishful thinking?
I’m shocke that no one has offered a contract. The RB’s are getting no love in free agency
seems legit
So many misdirected nfl players….smh
Camelback Mountain is worth climb. When you get to the top, you get to slide down into Cameltoe Ravine…it’s glorious!
It actually was Brokeback – He was hoping to be a Cowboy.
Cameltoe mountain…now that I’d like to see.
When you go in, tie a 2X4 to your behind and it’s easier to get you out.
Oh, I thought you wrote cameltoe.
hahaha its not like camelback is way out there its a simple hike

I hope he re signs with Washington. If he can find his way back to the Redskins, he can help point the way for the younger backs. The Redskins are headed in the right direction, and he can help lead them to the promised land!
I used to live in Phoenix, This is a small mountain in the middle of the city. Used to party there, cant see anyone getting lost there’s lights all around it
I saw the girl who was with him on the news and man was she HOTTT!!! I would’ve gone “off-trail” with her as well. But I wouldn’t have been stupid enough to have to call 911.
If he had his phone to call for help why didn’t he just use gps with his phone to get to the place. You know he’s got a smart phone.
The idea of dying in that desert was still more appealing than playing for the redskins
Stay on the “trails” you obviously can only run routes! Although maybe he was going “green”
People get stuck up there quite often.
This story would be better if it was camel toe mountain.
Double Camel Humpbacked Mountain.
holy cow! Was working out when I saw this on tv at the gym. Can’t believe it was him. They looked scared as hell when the chopper was shining lights on them.
what a f**king idiot. i hike camelback every 2 weeks and always wonder who the morons are that need to go “off trail” to make sure they get their hiking fill.
hightower, stop spending time in our state. go to the smithsonian or lincoln memorial. we don’t want you enjoying our amenities or wasting our tax dollars by getting lost like an assh*le
Maybe he was on BAREBACK MTN
