Ok we got some bottom of the barrel injury release guys. Not saying they arent good to go, just what a mess ol Al left behind. Its one thing to deal with a QB contract, but 5 other overpaid players? Its all down hill from here. I trust Reggie and his instincts.

I think the best move Reggie is making is looking for experience with talent in signing players. Instead of rookie and speed. In the NFL we have learned that it takes more then rookie speed to make it on the field. I think with the combination of talent/experience, that Reggie is not looking for another 8-8 season or worse just because its a new structure. I believe he wants a title and he wants it this year. I think some of you out there are gonna be pretty damn surprised at how well we hit the ground running this season because of how smart the signings hes made are and the ones hes let go. There is a new fire In the Black Hole and when the players feel that this season it will be like adding fuel to fire!!!!!!! Just Win BABY!!!!!

I just hope Oaktown fans realize that sometimes you have to take a step back to take two steps forward. Oakland may win less games this year…despite being a better team. I hope the fans can relax and accept that for a year. Oakland is heading in the right direction and should be a contender in 2013 when they have a full draft and cap space to work with…

No reason for Oakland to take a step back. The AFC West is wide open to be taken. The Raiders had the #9 offense in the league last season, and that’s without McFadden for over half the season and Palmer coming off the couch. Who have they lost – Boss? Come on, the guy didn’t get much playing time last season anyway. Bush? He can be replaced. Fact is, with McFadden healthy he’s a back up pure and simple. As for the defense, all Oakland has to do is get middle of the pack. The D was awful last year and the reason why the team didn’t make the playoffs. The makeover has has already begun. Hey, I’m not saying Oakland is going to win the Super Bowl, but a playoff appearance and a little noise in the tournament is certainly not out of the question, and that’s fine by me.

Good system fit players for a cap-strapped team. With the 3 picks they’ll get for compensatory loses, Oakland should be able to continue the roster rebuild.

These were good bargain moves, not sexy though. Id like to see Manny Lawson, Tracy Porter, and Aubrayo Franklin follow in .. atleast 2 of the 3. Maybe even another linebacker besides Lawson. These 2 moves will help solidify us, not there yet though. Good Work Reggie.

By bringing in someone else. I liked Wimbley. He brought a lot of pressure even when he wasn’t getting sacks, but he had too much guaranteed money in his contract.

In Reggie i trust, I felt that way when he was hired and do so now- ! Kind of irritated that wimbley did not take a pay cut to stay but he was not an elite pass rusher, just wanted to get payed like one.
Scholarships are done folks!
I look forward to a raider organization that’s in contension year in and year out!

Here we go.. See good things for those who wait!! It aint bout the Vicks, & Mannings in the FA world People!! It’s about quality signings, and who has the best eye for quality other than Reggie himself. We just landed a younger RG who is a perfect fit for the Blocking Scheme we’re implementing and a Hard press cover corner who has been solid for 6 years and Underrated!!

Now.. we can focus on some LB’s and some DE’s and another CB .. Still on the board is

Manny Lawson – LB Who played for Tarver in SF
Brodrick Bunkley – DE Who played for DA
