The draft is coming and lets face it, Kam was a class act, but in reality that $$ is to be paid for top dogs..he was lost at times last year and hardly made an impact – We need some run stuffing LB’s that make an impact on running plays- he was a tweener that worked well on Marshall’s defense and that wouldve worked out very well if he stuck around on D.A. Game plan. Hope he re-considers and comes back for less as we left the door open for them.
As for K.C. they will find out fast what we have been up against this off-season. The signings are for high-risk players that are always injured –

Uh, the releasing of Kam puts us at 15 mil BELOW the cap. No issues there liar.

Kam knows the only way he got the contract he had is because the league office balked at his original franchise tag numbers that Al gave him!

Good player, no question. Got lucky the league upped his contract and sacrificing his image for the 6.5 mil he would have gotten anyway.

Hmm…Let’s see. TE is Ausberry/Myers. RT is Barksdale. OC is Satele if he’s re-signed or Wiz if he is moved to center. RG is Carlisle re-signed at a better cap number or someone new with the cap money now available. OLB and DB are TBD with the now available cap funds. We have not lost anybody yet that can’t be replaced by a good, young player already on the roster or a yet to be determined good, lower profile free agent (Lofton, Porter, Briesel, etc). And when I say lower profile, I mean these guys just are not getting the pub as the supposed hot pick ups. Fact is, they are just as good or better and come a lot cheaper.
