This has nothing to do with Ziggy. There’s a salary cap, so he’s not spending more than anyone else. It’s a personnel issue, and with our personnel, we won 3 games.

And as a Minnesota fan, heck yeah we want a stadium for our team. You obviously aren’t a Minnesota fan, so you don’t understand what it’s like to have a team taken away from you.

No. AFC CB’s have a much tougher time than NFL QB’s because arena football is structured to heavily favor the offense. Teams score 60-70 points a game, and receivers are allowed to already be at a sprint before the snap. Also, plays develop faster than NFL plays, requiring shorter reaction times. The only thing making the NFL better is the fact that the field is bigger and the talent levels at receiver and QB are higher… but there are 11 defenders in the NFL also, which offsets that. Regardless, AFL defensive backs have an extremely tough job, even compared to their NFL counterparts.

Well, it’s not being a smug jerk if it’s right. I’m not claiming things others haven’t said. The Vikes are going to be terrible for a long time. They have roster holes everywhere, and everyone knows it. I know what that felt like – I grew up watching GB in the 80′s. Keep dreaming. Just remember that’s all the hopes ever were when you are watching Minnesoda get crushed by the likes of the Jaguars next fall.

Corners in Arena football have a much tougher job than NFL comers. So if the Vikings sign a guy who is a stud Arena corner with great size and a 4.24 40 time, why would you oppose adding someone with that kind of upside to the effing practice squad?!?
