Flynn would do well in seattle because they have a stout run game,tall recievers..rice6-4,williams6-5,duram6-6.lockete,moraand mcoy all 6-3 plus a wicked defense. only way he goes to the fins is if hes a dumby. then the hawks wouldnt want him anyway

Whether the dolphins sign flynn or not, the fact is that the fins whipped the jets in the final game of the season in a must win game for the jets to make the playoffs.

With flanchez and coach el gordo ryan, jets are destined to the cellar of the afc east.

Only once did he throw more than 6 passes in a relief appearance. In that game he was 15 of 26 for 177 and a pick in a 7-3 loss to the Lions.

It is funny all the people screaming “But he only started two games! He’s overrated!”

It is true, he only started two games. It is also true that one of those starts was a once-in-a-lifetime showing for most QBs.

But what everyone conveniently overlooks is all times he came in in relief. He didn’t always win, but no one would have. What he did do was show a boatload of talent and poise and competitiveness. When he came in, no one was saying “We’re doomed now” like is so often the case when backups come in because he wasn’t awful even in losses.

There will be a learning curve with a new team, sure. Just like anyone. But it isn’t going to be a disaster unless the Dolphins make him their only upgrade.

playing for an owner who doesn’t want him after said owner settled for a coach he wasn’t overly enamored with as well is not a good set up.

davone bess and bush are the only offensive weapons worth mentioning.

new defensive scheme and a lack of players to fill it properly doesn’t equal him getting into a good situation.

you are going to have to guarantee him the starting spot to shift the balance of power into miami’s favor.

Phin fans lets get it straight, you are SETTLING for Matt Flynn, just like you settled for Philbin. I know it is very hard for you fans to grasp this, but you have not been good for a very long time, 28 yrs since last SB, 38 yrs since last win, yet you think every player wants to be there because of the “GREAT WEATHER & ITS SOUTH BEACH”! That is a bonus, but think about it these guys spend less than half a year in the city they play in. I find it hilarous that the Dolphins have not been able to land the big fish so to speak, I guess they have become the new place where nobody wants to go, enjoy 4th place!

They should stick with Moore, Flynn is no better, they have a good o-line and running game, the need a no.1 WR, and get better on the defensive front 7, build through the draft, they could be a 7 win team this year and develop their draft picks could be a playoff team next year, tell Flynn he’s a jerkoff and give him a one-way ticket to Seattle.
