I just don’t get it. What the hell is Elway’s problem with Tebow? That man brought a division title back to Denver, and took them to the playoffs. Elway is an ungrateful little man who has no business being in the position he is in with Denver.

If they got Peyton, and traded Tebow for Gabbert… Then you’d have a great quarterback for years who could help develop Gabbert.

Bottom line is tebow should be cut now, not traded. Elway doesn’t want to build a team around a guy like tebow and that’s fine. He should just say so and move on.

Oh and another thing, quoting tebows stats and saying ” ain’t Gonna get it done” has to stop. The guy’s team went from 1-4 to the second round of the playoffs, that’s “getting it done”.

Personally I would not want tebow on my team, but I do see a way to build a team around him that you can win with. In fact the 49ers could win right now with tebow. If Denver wasn’t so busy trying to get 36 year old with a broken freakin neck who’s a big stats guy but only has one ring and had frequently choked in big games, perhaps they may have gone out and signed a dominate te or loaded up on defense and running backs who stay mostly healthy. This way they may have had a chance to win.

I fear for broncos fans that manning is going to San Fran and tebow is going to demand a trade ( as he should)

This is crazy… the kid led them to the playoffs and legit beat the Steelers… I almost feel like the Broncos should just trade Tebow and save us all from having to read these articles… We all know everyone in Jacksonville would love to pair him with MJD…

Elway is always putting Tebow down but I think Elway forgets Tebow doesnt have Terrell Davis(at the time one of the best RB’s in the game) Rod Smith Or Ed Mccaffrey.. Not to mention Crazy Bill Romanowski to help him out on the otherside of the ball. The broncos secondary is old but with the good pass rushers they do have they can salvage a poor secondary.

Look for the broncos to beat all the bad teams and steal one or two from a good team.. Thats the best they can do..Im a hugee Mcgahee fan but theres no way in hell he can carry the Rushing load on his own. Even with Tebow..

Minimal? Where were you last year? McGahee may be underrated, but he sure wasn’t productive. I saw him crash and burn in a couple of games (you WERE watching the games, right, stat rat?). What about the game-winning run against the Jets? You DID see that, right? No? Well, you should have… Tebow’s contribution was more than minimal. And not just in stats; in important things like leadership. His ability to inspire. All you have to do is listen to and watch his teammates reaction. Of course, if you’ve never actually PLAYED the game, you wouldn’t understand.

Here is my final opinion. I love the Broncos, and I am going to be pulling for them opening day. As for Manning, I am not completely supportive of signing him. Yes he is better than Tebow, but is only a temporary solution. As for Tebow, I think this year is his year to prove himself, if not, whether I am a supporter or not, and I am, it will be time to move on. One thing I’m sure of, hell no to Hasslebeck or Alex Smith. If we play Tebow and he succeeds,problem solved, if not, there is a couple qb coming out next draft…

John Elway = Sara Jessica Parker ( Horse Face ) just stop being sneaky and get rid of Tebow if you don’t want him. Stop the backroom deals ( which are public you idiot, because you release them ) and man up and say Tim is our QB or he is not. As a Broncos fan I am tired of the back and forth. I have had season tickets for 15 years and I must tell you John.. I am not impressed by you or your lousy steak house. Just look at what Jordan does for the Bobcats in the NBA. Can’t judge talent. You are the Jordan of the NFL. Not saying Tebow is the man, however I am saying as a season ticket holder for 15 years I like my leaders to make a choice, quickly, and decisively and not make sneaky backroom deals that are inconsistant with what you say you stand for. ( Charecter and prfoessionalism) The backroom deals inpact the team and make and the players seem they can’t trust your word.

True Broncos fans want to win, and would support whomever leads the team to wins. This is why Tebow received so much support, from me as well as “Tebowmaniacs” after Orton led the team to so many losses, regardless if they were his fault or not. I myself am not a “Tebowmaniac”. Too many people lump these crazed Tebow fans in with Bronco fans. They are NOT one in the same. As far as Fox saying he wants to bring in 2 QBs to compete, well, no kidding. Tebow is the only QB under contract for the Broncos right now and by time training camp opens at least 2 if not 3 more will be in camp.

I don’t know why you would want to sign Peyton Manning in the first place. He’s old, he’s coming off a severe injury, and he’s going to cost an arm and a leg. There’s a significant chance that if you sign him, that he gets hit in the first game of the season, he hurts his neck again, and that’s all she wrote. But that’s just me. I’m what they call frugal.

Oh, Let’s not forget to remind John of 1983 when he went 123 for 259 for 1663 Yds 7 TDS and 14 INTS 47.5% and compared to some of the best in the game only a 56.9% career mark, 60 plus QBs ahead of him in that catagory. Also let’s not forget about Terry Bradshaw’s awful start and where he ended up. Let’s really discuss why so many people want to kick Tim to the curb. Look into your Heart to see that.

All this talk is covering one basic fact: Elway doesn’t think Tebow is any good. Period. The problem is that he kept winning. Even Lord John Elway cannot make that inconvenient truth go away. So he does what he has to: Appease the Tebowmaniacs and keep his options open.

John is going to be really surprised at the way Tim handles his rejection. He is a Godly young man that is going to love John no matter what descion is made. He’s told in God’s Word to Love even his enemeies in Luke chapter 6. John can’t get away from that. It’s going to be hard for John to back up what he told Tim, in that he would help him in the offseason if things don’t work out with Manning. Either way Tim is praying for John, not just to make the right decsion about which QB but the right decsion about where he’ll spend eternity. No doubt Tim will do as much teaching on that subject as Elway will teach on QBing. It’s so much more important.

You missed the point. If Elway brought in Manning and Manning won a Super Bowl, Elway would get credit for signing him thus enhancing his legacy( i.e he could claim to be a great GM as well as a great player).

However, If Tebow does well for an extended period of time, Elway doesn’t get nearly as much credit since he didn’t draft him.

This is nothing more than Elway protecting his legacy by sabotaging Tebow.
