Bush would get the 8-10 carries he needs to be the most effective and Tamme will fit right into the Hawk’s offense and be a great asset.

If they sign one of the two you would have to give the Hawks a B for a grade this FA. Both sign and you are at a B+.

I would like to see Bush and Tamme with the Seahawks. They fit in with the type of upgrades Schneider and Carroll prefer, and the kind that Seattle needs. They would further enable the team to pick a star or two at necessary positions of need.

If I had my choice as to which, if either, TE the Colts brought back, I’d choose Tamme over Dallas any day. He’s a solid player.

Either Bush or Tolbert will make for a great compliment to Lynch, and it’s looking like they’ll both be available at a great price.
I’d like the pass catching abilities of Tolbert, but defenses won’t get any plays off no matter which guy is signed. Seattle will have 2 very tough runners helping Flynn next fall.
Hate to say goodbye to Forsett — great dude.

The market for veteran RBs seems to be pretty soft. A guy like Bush may be cheaper than people think. It makes sense to at least talk with him and find out what the market is.

Look at how Seattle handled Flynn. They made an offer, and let him go check out Miami before signing him to a very reasonable contract. They’ll deal with Bush the same way. No point in paying a backup huge bucks, but if they can get a decent deal, it would make sense to deal with this need now, and focus on other areas in the draft.

Schefter is frequently wrong about the Seahawks, so take any info from him with a grain of salt. Yesterday he said that Flynn met with Gallery at Seahawks HQ even though Gallery was cut 2 days before.

I don’t think he will land in Tampa like I thought he would at the onset of FA. I think he would be a good complimentary back but not a legitimate, full-time starter or every-down back. Tampa should at least kick the tires on a few of these remaining FA RBs and see if there isn’t a match. Tampa definitely needs to try to jump into the LB pool and grab one of the better ones that are left (not many options). I don’t think they can draft two legit starters at LB in the draft. One perhaps and even then, chances of being that great, that quick, not likely. Better to have a solid/stud LB with veteran experience on the team.
I think TB’s draft will be very defense heavy, as it should be. If it isn’t, then nothing they did this off-season will mean jack.

Anyways, back on topic…Bush lands in Cincy, Arizona or Oakland. Those are where I see him working well.

RB is definitely a need area for Seattle, since it seems unlikely Justin Forsett will be back. It makes sense to at least talk to Bush and possibly a few of the other vets who are available, and if nothing can be worked out, look to the draft.
