Now learn how to do simple math…2012 minus 2004 equals 8…which is less than the 10 years that the original poster specified that the lousy offensive lineman had to be a Pats player. Note that the original statement wasn’t that anyone had to think of a lousy Pats offensive lineman WHO WAS DRAFTED in the last ten years. Try paying closer attention next time, peabrain.

Getting old ? Many are veteran fill-in parts that will be battling other vets or 3rd or 4th round picks for backup roles. The core of the team is a good mix of vets and youth. If you look at the 01 team btw, you will find many guys that few wanted. Fanene and Gregory will play, think Fanene might be huge, and obviously Lloyd is #1 WR so those 3 are quality or high quality pickups and Fells is beter than any 3rd TE you could find in round 5 or 6.

The draft is now 5D or 1 OL + 4 D in the first 5 picks. Which means a young D will get younger and better.

Seems like an incredibly effective FA period, with almost no risk of being naked AFTER the draft.

The real question becomes who makes the team and who can effcetively slide to the practice squad.
