A couple of these guys will end up on teams competing for the Lombardi in the post season next year. Perennial contenders rarely sign the so called big name free agents during the first week or two of free agency. While Mario Williams signs the big contract with a team like the Bills the names you see on this list are much more likely to be picked up by a contender.

As a Cardinals fan, the most aggravating thing about Doucet was his consistency. He would catch a pass one play, and then drop one he should have caught the next. His end-zone stumble in Cincinnati didn’t help his value either. One thing about him: he is never tackled by only one defender. It takes a minimum of two guys to bring him down. He’s even harder to tackle than Anquan Boldin.

9ers will sign #7 and hopefully get #9 back as a backup. I would assume that #1 would have gotten a look from Harbaugh by now. 9ers are happy with Kaep and Tolzien as backups and ______ as the starter.

Justin Forsett has a LOT of heart. I think the Seahawks never really used him correctly. We were looking for an every-down back like Lynch. Forsett needs a very strong offensive line to be really effective. The only real drawback is he’s not big enough to make a difference in the pass rush blocking.
