Carroll said he wanted to get faster at LB. The emergence of KJ Wright last season (the man who made Curry expendable) has them thinking they can move Wright to the middle and pick up someone faster to play outside.

The idea of drafting Luke Kuechly to play the middle has also been passed around.

What kind of money is Hawthorne looking for? I say the Lions should consider extending him a 1 or 2 year offer while he’s in the D. Depth is a great thing.

Unless they have a deal for him to figure out his market value and then Seattle counters. But he has played very well over the past couple years, brings the wood too. I was hoping my Saints would offer him a contract but they didn’t?
