If 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh really wants Josh Johnson to play for him again, Harbaugh is going to have to start moving more quickly.
The Washington Redskins are showing significant interest in the free agent quarterback, and Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports Johnson will be visiting Mike Shanahan’s team on Wednesday.
Johnson’s stats look poor on paper. He has completed just 54.2 of his career passes with a 5:10 touchdown-to-interception ratio. The game tape on Johnson is better, though, as he is capable of making throws in the vertical passing game and is a dangerous rushing threat.
