Samson Satele, the guy we got for Welker’s 2nd round pick from the Pats…. oh yes, another one of the boneheaded decisions by my Dolphins in the last 10 years…
1. passing on Brees twice
2. 2nd rounders for QBs: AJ Feeley, Culpepper, Beck, Henne, Pat White
3. horrible drafting: Jason Allen, Eddie Moore, Ted Ginn (he was picked over Patrick Willis and Revis), Jamar Fletecher, and on and on and on

The only thing notable about Satele is that he was drafted with the 2nd round pick the Phins got for trading Welker to New England. He’s a JAG.

Arrest aside, it’s a good signing for the Colts. Not the best center in the league but a good player. Can get to the second level on the screen and longer run plays. Tough player that I didn’t miss many games. Wasn’t a head case on or off the field either while with the Raiders, which makes his arrest all the more surprising and leads me to believe he may not be guilty. Would have liked to see him stay as a back-up, but Wiz is the better player at center for us now.

With all that dead money they have from Manning, Clark, Freeney, etc they can not be picky in who they sign!

Getting arrested simply made him affordable to them.
