Two members of the Giants defense are on the road visiting with teams other than the Super Bowl champions.

Defensive end Dave Tollefson is on his way to Seattle and will visit with the Seahawks on Thursday and Friday, per Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times. Tollefson has been part of the Giants’ defensive line rotation for the past four years and has provided solid play alongside his better known linemates. He had a career high five sacks in 2011 and might wind up costing too much for the Giants to bring back for another year as a part-time player.

Linebacker Jonathan Goff, who missed the entire 2011 season with a torn ACL, visited with the Browns earlier this week. The news of the visit was reported by Adam Caplan of Sirius XM NFL Radio. Goff started all 16 games at middle linebacker for the Giants in 2010, but the Browns are set at that position after re-signing D’Qwell Jackson. The Giants are also thought to be interested in bringing Goff back to round out their linebacking corps.

The Giants have lost wide receiver Mario Manningham and cornerback Aaron Ross since the start of free agency and 11 other members of last year’s team are unrestricted free agents.
