The Lions — particularly Martin Mayhew — pride themselves on getting high-value acquisitions that are still bargains, and this is one. Brown has a lot of the intangibles and that defensive-line-minded coaching staff in Detroit will really show hom how to do things. Not to mention the fact that Brown will have Vanden Bosch, Suh, Avril, Williams, Sammie Hill and Lawrence Jackson to learn from. Good pick-up for Detroit.
