Tebow will divide the locker room and only add another clown to the circus Rex Ryan has created in New York. After this move the Jets are on the verge of becoming a complete laughing stock. With the Pats still dominate and Bills gaining respectability, I predict the Jets finish 3rd in the division at 6-10.

Mike Tannenbaum and Rex Ryan will both be out of a job after this disaster and Tebow will end up on yet another team in 2013. The New York press and fans are going to “crucify” him but unlike the Jesus fairy tale Tebow bases his life on, he will not rise again!

I’m pretty sure the Panthers reintroduced the Wildcat formation in 2006 when Henning used DeAngelo Williams to overcompensate for the lack of a competent QB on the roster.

But they also drafted Pat White (a QB) to run it the following season. It didn’t work because Pat White couldn’t throw. It can be much more effective if you can also pass out of this formation. Miami could never get that player because they needed the roster spot to fill other needs. Obviously, Sparano still believes in it or they wouldn’t have traded for the one guy that can probably run it effectively. Wildcat, Zone Read, whatever you want to call it – Denver ran it last year and won a playoff game.

I guess based on all the demand from all the other 31 teams I can see why you made that statement. It’s good that despite all the other great offers the Broncos received for Tebow they were kind enough to trade him for a 4 &6 to the Jets.

Please take into account that I am a long suffering Cowboys fan, but I must ask this question…… Can you name 3 more dysfunctional franchises in professional sports (nevermind NFL)? How clueless are the Moe (Woody), Larry (Mike) and Curly (Rex)? Can’t even get a face to face with Peyton, then lie about not being interested, extend Sanchez for no apparent reason (other than to console his fragile ego) when you had him under contract for 2 yrs, trade for Tebow and his circus in tow only after embarrassing yourselves about the specifics of his contract, bring on Stanton on backup QB, who 1 week later now wants to leave…. the countless times Rex has guaranteed a SB victory. I mean …… what a joke!

I’m surprised as to how much people are piling on the Jets here. All we did was criticize the strength of their locker room after the team fell apart late in the season. Now they bring in a guy who most people call a great “team guy” or “leader” and they are getting criticized for that. Jeez, tough crowd.

I will lose all respect for the Jets if they allow these spinmeister in the media to force Sanchez out of the starting position so we can be entertained week in and out with Tim Tebow trying to master the art of throwing a ball straight. The show air last season in Denver.

It’s clear by the quickness in which Elway went after Peyton, broken or not, that he had enough of the Tim Tebow “potential” as a throwing QB and was ready to see the show go.

Maybe Sanchez can ask for an out and go learn under a real QB else where and get far away from these clowns in the media and their puppet, wannabe QB.

I hate this for Tebow. He needs time as a legitimate QB behind center to actually improve as a passer. Instead, he’s going to be turned into a gimmick “change of pace” player.

Yeah, he wasn’t a Pro-Bowler last year, but he did perform well enough to help turn around the Broncos season, get a playoff birth, and help win a playoff game. He won’t have a chance to get better if his only time on the field will be as a wildcat QB.

Dan Henning took the idea from college teams and other coaches he’d worked with. If the Jets or anyone else thinks Sparano is going to be some offensive “wildcat” genius they’re in for a harsh dose of reality.

Hate to let the cat out of the bag, but Tannenbaum only traded for Tebow because he was undervalued.

Jets are going to trade Tebow during the draft to move up in round #1 for edge rusher.

Clear as day to me, its the only reason that makes any sense at all for the Jets to grab Tebow.

Just let Tim be starter and let him get used to the first string so he can get his timing down and develop, don’t be stupid like Denver and have sit on the bench half the season. Just bench or cut Sanchez and keep drew as a number 2. The jets are so dumb! Who cares about feelings at the pro level, just bench Sanchez and hopefully he”ll demand a trade and give u a way out of the crap decision u Made by resigning him. Sanchez made no playoffs last yr! Yeah with Tim u may not win the Super Bowl, but at least you can get to playoffs and have a shot!

I hate the excuse, well belichek knows how to stop Tebow, no he knew how to stop a predictable run only offense ran by fox and Denver that didn’t know what they were doin and were predictable. Not to mention, the pats brought in Denvers ex coach mcdaniels to help them in the playoffs.

Last I remember was that the pats and bill belichek couldnt stop the wildcat against Miami when tony spurano was running it. I remember the pats and a few other team gettin derailed by the dolphins wildcat a few years ago.
