Getty ImagesMaybe Pacman Jones heard that the Bengals now have a “Law Firm.”
Regardless, something attracted Jones back to Cincinnati for a third season. Per a league source, the one-time sixth overall pick in the draft has agreed to terms to return to the Bengals.
Jones appeared in eight games with seven starts in 2011. The prior year, a neck injury limited him to five games and one start.
Out of the league in 2009 and 2007, Jones has appeared in only 24 games since the end of the 2006 season. In 2005 and 2006, he had 30 total appearances.

I don’t get the “Law Firm” joke.
Neck injury probably from looking up at the “rain”
“Pacman” is so three years ago. He is Adam Jones now, thank you.
When healthy (and not suspended), he is a beast at the CB position and as a punt returner. Not a bad #3 or #4 corner..
“Regardless, something attracted Jones back to Cincinnati for a third season.”
Well when it’s between that or being out of the league…
One of the few good things Roger Goodell did was get Pacman to stay out of trouble. I would like to see this guy make a comeback and play like he did when he was in Tennessee.
“Pacman is back with the Bengals”
How appropriate.
we still need to draft a stud cornerback. obviously by reading how seldom he plays means he will rarely make impact plays.
The craziest off season why not mention pacman now truely what else can happen havent we cover it all
They should put him in on punt returns – he’s by far their best returner when he’s healthy.
Really….heard they had a law firm? That’s why he resigned! Horrible punch line. The Bengals need depth at corner and this provides that depth.
Won’t make the team
Wow pacman is back,
Guess thats better than T. Newman
He’s terrible in coverage. Not sure why we want him back.
PACMAN <•••••••••••
Hopefully with a little more depth at cb the bengals can use him where he is best…returning punts! Brandon Tate was painful to watch every week.
Pacman > Terrence Newman (Not saying much)
Jones offers a serviceable dime CB in a pinch behind Hall, Clements & Allen. And he’s a good backup @ the PR & KR spots. Solid signing. Not great. Not bad. Solid for depth @ a couple spots.
Good – added depth in the secondary. He can contribute also on special teams (punts.) The criminal jokes are old, there is not one team in the NFL that does not have a player or players who have had run ins with the law. Yes, the Bengala have had more than their share and yes it sure seemed like a home for wayward boys for many years. It does appear the Bengals are turning the page, hopefully Adam Jones has too!!
Pacman: opposing QB% rating – 95.1%. 0 – INT. 0 – Sacks. 1 arrest. Pending another suspension. The only hope is that the Bengals pick up a CB in the draft forcing Pacman as the 5th CB and making his primary
position as a PR/KR.
As bad as Newman is, he had better stats with no pending suspensions.

I would give you one million thumbs up if i could…..i would yell at the tv and ask whys tate there instead of pacman

Terrible in coverage? He took over the #1 spot when Hall went down and played lights out.!
Oh for Christ sake people….Law Firm. The nickname Patriots fans have/had for BenJarvis Green Ellis because his name sounds like a law firm.

A 95.1% opposing QB rate is only “lights out” for the opposing team.
I’m a Bengals fan, and I want him to do well. But he did get absolutely torched all day long in the playoff game.
He’s a great punt returner there is no denying that maybe even use him on some kickoff returns, Brandon Tate isn’t terrible he did lead the league with 51 punt returns with a 10.6 avg but he’s no Hester, Ginn, or Patrick Peterson.
@jsto9
Oh….ok.
Realize that last year, there was the strike and virtually no training camp and he was hurt and didn’t get to participate in drills until he was healthy and so his stats last year were misleading. It is hoped that with full OTAs, TC and lots of reps, he will do better than in 2011.
Mike Brown strikes again, convicts play for less.

Congrats to PFT for resisting the urge to put a “Law Firm fits Bengals criminals” joke in there.
Good signing for my Who Deys.
