Wait a minute there ye who pulls for a team that hasn’t won a damn thing ever. How are Raiders fans “jealous”? We weren’t even in the Manning hunt, so there’s nothing to be jealous of. A lot of us have been in this position before when Joe Montana went to the Chiefs and we heard all the same Super Bowl nonsense. I could care less who Denver has under center. I’m glad Manning is in Denver. If he can play up to his potential, he’ll make the entire division better. Thing is, the Broncos have some holes to fill before they go announcing themselves as next seasons champions, and pointing that out doesn’t make anyone “jealous”.

Maybe you should just go back to worrying about your Bills and leave the AFC West bickering between the actual fans of the teams in the division.

So, according to this logic, the Bears should have rolled over your Colts back in SB XLI (a below average defense). But they didn’t because your team was on a roll – much like the Saints in 2010.

Good signing for the Broncos. Porter was always a good professional and good teammate. He has had issues with injuries but hopefully that is behind him. Solid #2 CB but tends to only like playing one side of the field. Not sure Denver has done this type of CB mix or has guys line up with certain players. Will be interesting to see how he adjusts, if he has to. He has good ball skills and anticipation.

I don’t think the Saints ever really had intent to resign him however. 2 of their last 4 high picks have been CBs. Patrick Robinson (1st) and Johnny Patrick (3rd). Both have played very well when Porter has been out.

One of those salary cap losses, you can’t keep everyone. Broncos get better from this as long as Porter can stay healthy.

He also sports some awesome haircuts before big games. =) Prepare for that Broncos fans!!

For a guy who professes to be such a Christian he sure nuff sucks up all the attention.

I would prefer having Peyton getting this much hoopla than a QB who is more being praised for being a good guy than his playing skills.

Other than the two picks in the playoffs during the SB run, against Favre and Manning, Porter was mostly average. In fact, that is why Williams blitzed so much, to cover up weaknesses in our secondary. Flash forward to the game against the 9′ers. Minute 30 left and we hold the lead, only to let Alex Smith of all people, run and drive the field for a TD. Even a FG would have given us the chance in OT. Reminds me of when we acquired a CB from Indy after they won their SB, Jason David? He was horrible.

Have no fear Bronco Fans, Porter will be suspended for at least 6-8 games, so get another gameplan in place.

Peyton wouldn’t of came to the Broncos if Tim Tebow and fans weren’t who they were.

Elway couldn’t stand it, so he kicked the kid out of town. Even the big Peyton Manning wouldn’t lower himself to use Tim Tebow during a game, so that’s why he out of town, it’s has to always be Peyton.

Shame on you Peyton for taking the #18 number, and and saying it wasn’t about the money, when it was; shame on you Mr Elway for treating the one person who helped you team turnaround. I’m no longer a fan of this team.

Hope the Jets win the superbowl and Tim calls you both and says “Thank You, for looking after my interest.”

The Donkies are GARBAGE!!! That defense gave up close to 50 points in like 4 different games that year. Dennis Allen coached his ass off to put a competitive defense on the field…he’s not there anymore.

Denver is no threat. Elway is just a good used car salesman. Sold Peyton a dream. I’m personally glad he went to denver, because now this gives me a chance to win all those debates I’ve had about Peyton being overrated. The bulk of his success came from being surrounded by players like Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne.Great QBs don’t go 9-10 in the playoffs. He’ll be exposed now.

They are not buying anything. They didn’t use it yet because there was no reason to. Would you give Mc D carte blanche. (No weird foreign term outside of frenchie controlled La)? No. Had room under the cap. Have assurances for further injury. Have a lot of tools for him. On the minus side, lots of tools, angry tools that didn’t get him. Lots of angry tools that wish him harm. You got a great player Denver he is going to be missed in NOLA. He does have some injury issues but when he is in there he is a real good CB. He is a little eccentric with his custom hair cuts/art for every game but a really good person. He fell off the depth chart here a bit but that was only because of injury and other guys stepping up. He is a solid starting corner with good instincts. Great pick up Denver.

I love me some Saint hatas… Lol… Seriously, people still trying to rip cred from Porter on that pic. I saw a show shortly after SB 44, where they split screen that game, with an earlier Colts game that year. Exact same presnap motion, same formation, etc. Even that show pointed out that this really was a case of simple film study.

This play has nothing to do with the bounty scandal. But even before that, nobody would give the Saints credit. We just “got lucky” or it was “Wayne’s fault” or “Manning’s fault”. Even if you hate the Saints, why is it so hard for people to fathom a player watching game film and making a great play on the ball. If I remember correctly, Porter baited Manning by “sitting” flat footed, so it would look like he didn’t know what was coming.

I don’t care what anyone says, that INT was ALL PORTER.

But the truth is, Porter hasn’t held that standard of play since. One of my personal faves, but the Broncos aren’t getting Night Train Lane.
