Wednesday was one of the busier offseason days in recent memory and Thursday’s edition of PFT Live will try to tackle some of what went down.
Mike Florio will be joined by his Football Night in America colleague Peter King to talk about the penalties handed out by comissioner Roger Goodell as a result of the Saints bounty program as well as what might be coming next in terms of penalties to players. They’ll also touch on the trade that sent Tim Tebow to the Jets as well as the rest of the news around the league.
Overshadowed a bit by those two big stories on Wednesday was the list of proposed rules changes by the NFL’s Competition Committee. Among the proposals are extending the playoff overtime rules to the regular season and changes to the replay review system. Competition Committee chairman Rich McKay will be on the program to discuss these changes.
You can watch it all live at noon ET.

What a special day, two morons for the price of one.
Make the extra point a live play, like college, giving the defense an opportunity to return the blocked kick, fumble, interception, etc. for two points. Now it’s like NL baseball and watching pitchers bat. It sucks. It would add drama to a late game two point conversion or simple extra point.
