Roseman needs to go, a non football guy playing fantasy football just as Asante said. Not that I am a big fan of Asante, and I thought it was time both he and Andy left the building. As long as the Eagles have Howie Roseman as a GM, they will not succeed. Hire someone who knows something about football instead of looking at names and salaries.

of course he went to denver. reid is stubborn and overbearing and would never let peyton control the offense. fox is a defensive coach and peyton essentially goes to denver and becomes the offensive coordinator, which is what he wanted all along.

I love having BIG RED , here in Philly.

It may be true ,
he hasn’t won the Super Bowl yet ,
but it will come sooner or later.

but…
1. we are mostly-always in the playoffs
2. We can beat the snot out of the Cowboys and Redskins .. and usually split w the Giants.

So…that’s at least 1 good NFC East game.

which … is all we really like to see.

For Reid its not about Vick or Peyton. Its about control. Like others have stated, he is butting heads with Howie. I truly believe the line about being ready to walk away…these last few years post JJ have been mediocre. plus with Peyton he would challenge the WCO and with Vick he can crush or build him up as he sees fit. Plus when the time comes for our new QB to come in noQ will question the move, thus making him appear to be the genius for pulling the flawed Vick

you need to check you facts man.. Andy Reid is the cheif decision maker on personnel & THAT IS WHY EACH AND EVERY YEAR THERE IS AT LEAST ONE GLARING NEED ON THIS TEAM..

when we were stacked & ready to take the title, we never had WRs,, then it was the undersized defense, then it was the CB, now its LB..

he has made exactly one move to address the key position of need on our team.. there are still 2 more to go..

if Andy thinks that he has done us a service with his personnel selections,, he needs to get his head checked.

for the longest time the only WEAPONS on this squad was the Defense and the OL..
back when McNabb was pegging gophers with passes.

Do I blame Andy for sniffing around? No. He asked and he should have asked. But for all his flaws, Andy is not delusional. He HAD to know there was zero chance that Peyton was coming to the NFC East. Archie may be a bit too controlling, but he makes damn sure his boys are in position to succeed. He wasn’t going to let Peyton steal Eli’s thunder and he wasn’t going to let the Giants D line get a minimum of two shots each season at finishing Peyton’s career.

Vick will be the reason why Reid ultimately gets fired.

Vick has just ONE season where he eclipsed 60% completion percentage.
Vick has just 2 seasons with 20+ TD passes (20 in 2006 & 21 in 2010)

Vick is a mediocre QB who will never be elite ala Brady, Manning (s), Brees, Roethlisberger, Rivers.

If Philly was smart, they would go out and get a top tier backup QB or one that can at least threaten to take Vick’s starting job.

I am not “hating” on Vick, I’m just telling it like it is or for some of you out there I’m just “keeping it real”

I think Andy Reid is just a huge Madden fan and just wanted to make an unbeatable team for Xbox Live. How else do you explain 3 starting caliber cornerbacks, Mike Vick, Vince Young and 3 deep threat receivers.
