Teams that overpay for them don’t win. When u are a gm gb3300, you can spend thowners money like that on backups. I trust the drafting of the texans and think the have good players to step right in. Reality check: teams can’t win games without decent backups. You had better hope there is a plan in place to restock that many players with one draft since FA doesn’t seem to have done it.

Our backups are actually wanted by other teams! We must actually be decent for a change. Everyone is getting overpaid. Look at the per year average: Mario 16mil, Briesel 4mil, Winston 5.5mil, Dressen probably around 4mil. We let Demeco go for a 6mil cap savings. It almost pays for Foster who is worth way more.

Nice offseason so far for Houston. If you want to know how to win, just watch the Pats, they never overpay. We did it for almost a decade and went nowhere. We have finally learned our lesson.
