Colts had to re-do Mathis, Wayne contracts

Though many old faces in Indy are now gone, defensive end Robert Mathis and receiver Reggie Wayne have stuck around.

But it wasn’t as easy as it was supposed to be.

Per a league source, their new contracts were disapproved by the league.  Fear not, Colts fans.  The problems were fixed, and the contract has been re-signed.

It’s currently unknown (at least by us) why the contracts were rejected.  When we find out, we’ll let you know.

Hmmm…a picture of Reggie Wayne throwing a pass…looks like Irsay found his replacement QB sooner than April 26th.

Funny how they disapprove these contracts and approve the Cowboys and Skins contract and then punish them. Something is rotten in the league besides the Packers cheese

Sure, the league can reject these contracts but allow the contracts he redskins and cowboys submitted in 2010? Give me a break, the league knew exactly what was happening in the so called “uncapped” year. I hope Snyder and Jones sue the league.

Approved? Can’t truss it. They may come back and penalize you in 2 years.
