I watched Matt Roth at Iowa and as a Fins Fan. The Bengals should sign him. He is somewhat injury prone as he does not do enough to shed Blockers rolling up on him. In other words, he has decent footwork,but not quick enough. Also, explains why he gets burned in coverage.

However, he trained in Martial Arts and has excellent upper body strength and unmatched stamina and motor. He has improved on shedding blocks in space and makes a better OLB than End. A limited contract and he is a versatile player with huge upside.

Apparently the Bengals are signing any DE out there worth looking at. Hope they don’t guarantee to much money to these guys just to battle for a job. One DE job is taken with Carlos Dunlap. He ain’t going anywhere. Robert Geathers on the other hand……..better be looking over your shoulder. Especially at 4+ mil a year.
