emaimo80:
Why do you Dolphin fans always troll on Jets stories? Dude, worry about your own team! You guys have not WON ONE FREAKIN PLAYOFF GAME IN OVER A DECADE! It must be an envy thing, especially with no playoff wins to speak of.

In that regard, Garrard is actually a pretty good fit. He has 1 playoff career win over the first decade of his career, something the Dolphins organization aspires to. In essence, Mark Sanchez has accomplished four times what Garrad has in a decade in his first three seasons in the league!

Well, actually more than that. Garrard has a 3-3 TD-INT ratio with a career playoff QB rating of a 76. Hey at least he has a QB rating in the playoffs. Thats another quality the fins organization looks for.

Now compare that to Sanchez, with a 9TD-3 INT ratio, and a 94+ qb rating ranking 7th all time in NFL playoff history. Yea, you can do the math. Not to mention he was the best player on the field in a lot of those 6 playoff games he played in, including outplaying Carson Palmer, Philip Rivers, Tom Brady, and Ben Roethlisberger.

But yea, I could see how you feel better now. Call me when you win your first playoff game since beating the Colts in 2000!

Tim Tebow is an fine young man. He has tried to do the best he can with what skills he has for whatever organization he has been a part of. That said, I can't imagine this stint with the Jets working out for him. The front office must be having seances to contact Al Davis on how to take a valid franchise and run it into the ground. Tim doesn't have the skills to be an everyday quarterback in the NFL, and while his christian fan base would like to make this fiction become reality only because they wish it so, it won't happen. Much like the bible, it's not reality.

I wish Tim well, and hope that he succeeds in whatever endeavor he pursues. I just don't think this is the one.

Put on your big boy pants and put your name to your gripes. Or better yet, have the huevos to approach the person you have issue with and hash it out and see if you can't come to understand this person you have issue with. You'll find him to be 1 of 3 things. 1. Not as bad as advertised-a pretty decent person and all around good teammate, 2. about the same, or 3. worse than you thot.

Tebow and his propensity to continually cast his pearls before swine does himself no favors with the cynical and godless-not a crime, just shortsighted but I'd still prefer having to spend a day with this guy over tools like Bill Mahr, Keith Oberman or Chelsea Handler.

For his own sake, Tebow should have tried to push for a trade to the Packers since they allegedly showed interest. That team has coaches that are known for being able to help young QB's with mechanical issues and they probably would have enjoyed the challenge. There would be no QB controversy because Rodgers is a stud. And you know the Packers fans would shank anyone trying to chant "Tebow" at training camp. A couple of years in GB could have done this kid a world of good, but now he's landed in a place where he'll probably regress.

This is one definition of a Loser...

A person who fails at most everything he or she does, then tries to compensate by pointing the finger of blame on everyone else.

The Jets are full of Losers. The Haters on this blog are also Losers.

Tim Tebow has accomplished more with less skills than any person on the Jets team and probably any person commenting on this site. He's 100% heart and that is why he has a loyal following.

Stop Hating. Stop acting like a Loser. Give this kid a chance.

Damn, you Tim Tebow worshippers are scary. Didn't the Bible say "thou shall have no other God but me." What part of that are you folks missing in your relentless empty praising of this man.

We are well aware of the circus like atmosphere his over-zealous fans turned the Broncos team into. The Jets and all it's dysfunctions, don't need more "twilight" fans and clownishness.

"Damn. Just, damn.

I now have to become a (temporary) fan of the previously-hated, hated, HATED! New York Jets because Tebow is now on that miserable blue-State team. Why couldn’t he go to a decent city in a State that’s not crowded with LeftLibProgg atheists ?"

Serr8d, I just want to let you know that the Civil War ended hundreds of years ago. You can let go your hate for the North and put away your gun. It's safe.

Wow, is this the crowd Tim is bringing to NY? Oh my.

BTW PFT, where is Sanchez's stats and accomplishments as a 4 year QB. You seem to have no problem ignoring the facts and trouncing all over his ego while promoting your "choir-boy image" wannabe QB at ever turn. You have no problem repeat those "unnamed sources" negative comments against Sanchez because it suits your agenda. But here's the truth, for as bad as you're making Sanchez out to be, he never back into any of the play-offs like Tim did last season.

Sanchez helped carried the Jets into the play offs two seasons in the row and almost took them into the play-offs only to missing out his third full season as a Jet. Something tells me if Tim had accomplished all that Sanchez had you would be promoting them endlessly like you are his well aided 7 wins in 8 games hype. It took Eli Manning 4 years to make it to the SB, his brother 8. Yet Sanchez is already being told he's not good enough just because he failed to take the Jets to the play-offs. Well if you treat him like you do Peyton and all your more "preferred" QBs maybe he will succeed.

But it seems you folks in the media, not only impose your biases unto the NFL fans but you seem to have forgoten what integrity means, and your selective memory reigns supreme when you want to have your own ego diven way.

NFL is now owned by the MEDIA. Money does talk.

I'm not a Jets fans but I have to say I thought Stanton was the perfect backup QB. He is good enough to win a few games if the starter goes down and has proven to be a team player. He has good skills and was willing to be the backup. I just don't get why the team "invited" a QB controversy.

Not living in NY, I might be missing something, but from afar, it seems like Stanton and Greg McElroy are the classiest and most "team first" of the bunch.
