Ted Thompson is one hell of a General Manager. He had the stones and leadership ability to make an unpopular decision with the fan base and it worked out in the tune of Super Bowl Championship and an MVP quarterback. If he thinks Hargrove can provide help on the line, past indicators suggest he’s right far more often than he’s wrong. I can’t wait until camp.

Mike Neal: Justin Harrell all over again. Cut him.
Hargrove: hustle player providing depth and maybe a pass rush.
Ted Thompson: fixed the problem at center for far less money than Wells, upgraded depth at RDE.
Question: Ted, why didn’t you just resign Cullen Jenkins? Another day.
Ted is now free to do what Ted does best on draft day: prowl the back alleys for hungry players who work cheap.

At this point, we just need some warm bodies on the ends of our d-line.

Hargrove won’t be going to the Pro-Bowl, but he’d certainly be a good start to shoring up the defensive line.

Could Ted Thompson really sign two non-practice squad players in one offseason? I don’t even know the guy anymore.

Isn’t this the guy that is under investigation over bounty gate that proclaimed “Favre is done!”?.. Seems like they should also be bracing for a suspension of Hargrove as well as Neal. Don’t really want this type of player on my team personally. Imho.
