I wanted the Bears to take Michael Floyd in the 1st round but he is probably going to be gone now.
If they do not pick a WR with their first pick I would be more than happy if they could get this guy in the 2nd round.
Teaming him up with Brandon Marshall would make things a lot easier for him as far as coverage goes.

He is worth taking a chance on.

He’s handling being fat for his last college season better than Vontaze Burfict. By the way, how did Burfict’s agent let him go out there and run a 5.1? Wouldn’t it have been best to just let him do no drills the whole offseason and hope some poor team drafts him the mid-rounds?

Alshon will got in round 2 I believe.

You're actually comparing the speed of a WR to that of a LB? Why don't you ask how Jerries can tackle?

Chunk Jefferies may be drafted as a WR, but unless he stays on Jenny Craig he may be a TE by the end of his rookie contract.

thankheavenfornumberseven says:

Is he worth the third pick in the second round? The Vikings have cornered the market on South Carolina WRs in recent years.

==================================

Yeah, the Vikings have tried a couple of South Carolina receivers in recent years, with limited success at best. That said, if Jeffrey is available at the top of round 2, I can see the Vikings taking a chance on him. He's a huge target with great hands, something that the Vikings QBs are going to need. He's got better hands than Troy Williamson, and hopefully better health than Sidney Rice.

As for the secondary, Rick Spielman doesn't seem to think that part of the team needs upgrading. If he didn't he'd have actually made an effort to land at least one new starter, especially at safety.

While you typed this in jest; I have a feeling that if he does slip to the 2nd round, depending on what CBs are still available, the Vikings will take him.
That being said...Mike Williams anyone?

Honestly, I think it's funny how Alshon Jeffrey trimmed down so much weight just to run a fast 40.

No disrespect to Kevin Everett and his life-changing injury, but he's looking like Kevin Everett after football!!!!

Compared to everyone else he's going to look like a physically underdeveloped basketball center!!!!

Wouldn't it have been best to just let him do no drills the whole offseason and hope some poor team drafts him the mid-rounds?
