Dont forget about Shipley coming back and Whalen had some good playing time..

Not to mention the young D..maybe Atkins and Dunlap will get it in drive and pick up the 10.5 sacks or more.

Yeah. Cause Cincinnati hasn’t made the playoffs two of the past three seasons or anything. Playing in the AFC North.

I’m sure the Colts would let Dwight Freeney go for the low cost of one of their 1st rounders. He’d replace those 10.5 sacks by himself.

I have been criticizing Mike brown from the get go…but i cant say how much i am impressed with what the organization have done so far in free agency and how they handled the once-in-a-lifetime palmer trade…..Many of the fans were fed up and the stadium looked empty in all home games from last season….i guess Mike brown got the message nice and clear after all, Kudos to the Fans!!!!!!!

Always like him as a 9er. He just never developed into a pass rusher but great at setting the edge.

In a league that is quickly becoming littered with pass catching TE’s,, i figured there would be more of a market for this kind of talent.. 6’5 240 runs in the 4.5′s now.. He would just be a lockdown LB on any TE i played..

For teams running the 4-3,, this seemed like the perfect OLB.. Especially in the NFC,, or any team that plays the saints or pats twice a year..

when i look into why my eagles struggle,, situations where they pass on players like this quickly come to mind.
“a fast 6’5 run stopper & coverage LB ,, who needs em”

It will look even smarter if the team is able to replace the 10.5 sacks they lost with the departures of Frostee Rucker and Jonathan Fanene.

I believe that is why they brought in Anderson and Harvey and are looking at Amobi. Why by no means were these 1st round busts a huge upgrade, Fanane and FRucker weren’t exactly world beaters in thier own right.
