I was glad that NFL went to Nike since there the best and better than Reebok. I have seen the new jersey’s they look pretty sharep like that there light weight. and those that say Nike sucks are wrong Nike makes great stuff you just don’t know what your talking about Nike is the best which is fact.

Reebok did make cheap jersey that didn’t have NFL patch I liked the ones with the patch and also just had just front with team colors as well. Really the reason jersey is high is because of NFLPA deal with Nike is the reason.

Clearly Reebok is wrong here, but the irony is all this legal hassle will be passed on to us. Why should a replica jersey cost over $90 ! It literally costs more to ship it here than manufacture. The irony on this story is a group of house Attorneys for NFL, Nike and Reebok are all going to make more money sorting this nonsense, than even Tebows going to make off his Contract! Go Team Litigation!

Jerseys, unlike food, are not basic necessities. You may “hate” the “point” but if you had learned anything about basic economics, you would already know this to be true. Lead on sheep.

If Reebok’s license has already expired, wouldn’t both the NFL and Tebow be eligible to sue Reebok for unauthorized use of a player’s name as well? It seems odd that the NFL is selling the Reebok jersey on nflshop.com.

You do all know that Reebok lost the right to the NFLPA on February 29th, while they still have the right to the NFL for 3 more days they havent had the right to the players since march 1st. Therefore Reebok cannot produce NEW jerseys with players names and numbers.

Sounds to me that Reebok did everything they could up to the legal limit to milk this as much as possible. I don’t think Nike has a leg to stand on here.

Then again, I’m not a fan so I don’t care about this shirt. Neither company will be getting a dime from me from the sale of this shirt.

Looks like Nike is going to have to crap the whip on all those little kids in China and Bangladesh cranking out Nike’s crappy products for pennies a day. They got a lawsuit to pay for after all. It might cost the company a few more armed guards and suicide nets but dammit how DARE Reebok beat them to the punch and squeeze a little business out the end of their contract….which they still have.

Haven’t purchased a Nike product in over 20 years. And I never will.

I want to sue Nike and Reebok for selling jerseys that cost $6 to make at a 1000% markup. I can make and sell jerseys for cheaper than that, but the NFL enjoys monopolistic philosophy.
