How many 1st Round QBs not named Manning have won a Super Bowl in the past 20+ years? Answer: 2

So now it’s all the rage to reach for mediocre QBs in the 1st round when history says you should do otherwise. So the same knock on drafting RBs high could also apply to the QB position…but you don’t hear that very often. No one really questions using a high pick on a QB.

Richardson is a unique talent and could be a great NFL RB, not just a good one. Unless there’s a “can’t miss” OL or DL available that is a difference maker, I’d definitely use a top 5 pick on Richardson…and feel pretty confident he’ll make an immediate impact for the team.

Disagree…. It would be Claiborne. The Bucs have Williams opposite of V-Jax. They don’t need WR help at this point.

I, as a Bucs fan, still am torn between the RB or CB. It’s tough. I do see that if the Bucs want Richardson, I see them trading picks with the Vikings.

Trent Is a great running back. Let him play , it doesn’t matter how fast he is or is he going to be a extraordinary back in the nfl. Everybody knows that he was a great running back, if u watch him in college

I’m sold on this guy. I’ve been thinking it over forever now and I now really think he can help out McCoy and the Browns’ offense more than anyone else at pick #4. Considerably more than Blackmon could, and I really like Blackmon. There are great WRs that we can get at pick #s 22 &/or 37.

Since when is a 4.4 forty for a guy who can throw up 25 reps of 225 a bad thing? Richardson doesn’t have the pure running ability that some of the elite college backs have but he combines near-elite running with great blocking and pass catching, which seldom go hand in hand.

Seems he’s coming out of college at the right time because teams are looking for backs that can catch and block, while still being dangerous to go the distance.

Actually in this case it is partly because the running back. The absurd contract he signed cost him his All-Pro Center, LT, & LG in succession without a solid replacement plan.

As a Browns fan you have to be thinking either;

Blackmon and Martin

Richardson and Hill/Wright

with the first round. If it were me i would pick Blackmon/Martin

RB Green-Ellis, Pats undrafted FA = record 13 -3–Not because of the RB

RB Arian Foster, Texans undrafted FA = record 10 – 6–an exception not the rule.
