Chargers bring back Antonio Garay

The Chargers had been focusing most of their efforts in free agency on beefing up the offensive side of the ball.  But they’ve managed to bring back one of their key defensive players from the last two seasons.

Defensive end Antonio Garay has agreed to terms on a two-year deal, per a source with knowledge of the situation.

Garay barely played before 2010, appearing in only 16 total games (with zero starts) from 2003 through 2009.  He has appeared in every regular-season game since then, with 28 starts.

Boomer and Carton will love this signing. Although Carton probably wanted him a little closer to NY (man crush).

People making jokes don’t realise how much of a good player Garay is.

He’s not going to make the impact of a guy like Mario Williams but the Chargers need a LOT of help defensively, but this is a step in the right direction and a great signing.

Awesome, he may not be as explosive as he was his first season as a starter, but he’s still good and is vital to the rotation of the D-Line.
