Getty ImagesJets cornerback Darrelle Revis didn’t stop at saying the Jets’ locker room is in “disarray” in an appearance on ESPN Wednesday.
During ESPN’s fine journalistic interviewing technique of playing word association with Revis and Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Revis was asked to describe Patriots coach Bill Belichick in one word.
Revis answered, “jerk.”
Asked to elaborate on why he thinks Belichick is a jerk, Revis said, “Some of the comments he says about the Jets.” He did not give any examples.
Gronkowski only muttered, “Wow, I wasn’t expecting that one,” missing a golden opportunity to come back with, “Oh, yeah, Revis? Well, the jerk store called. They’re running out of you.”

I bet Belichick’s ex-wife and the husband of the woman Belichick had the affair with (before ruining that marriage also) would agree with Revis.

I agree w/ toledoohoh, I have never heard Beichick say anything bad publicly about an opponent, now Brady is another story as he has professed his hatred of the Jets is well documented.
1 example is ( best deffense in the nfl suck my d*&k) to his son although it was true to say suck my d*&k was a little over board. And I’m sure its plenty of other things he has said on the field including running up scores on multiple teams.o and he is verry sarcastic.
Not sure, Belichick doesn’t really comment about anything……..he actually cracks me up with his no comments though he is commenting. Revis may have an underlying issue.

I’m assuming Revis is referencing all of those BB quotes that sound like: “They’re a good, tough football team. It will be a good matchup. We just have to play sixty minutes against a solid opponent.” yeah, BB is just a huge jerk when he refuses to sound bite like Cromartie.
I don’t know why he threw that “things he has said about the Jets” in there. Why not just say it like it is? He is a jerk because he cheated to reach his “super star” status.

I’m not surprised that a JET would try to bad-mouth a player on the Pats, but to cut up the coach, who to my knowledge defers from saying anything derogatory about any team is mind-blowing.

It is pretty apparent to me that ALL the Jets do is talk, talk, talk. The organization clearly has no clue what it is doing. The Tebow press conference is a prime example, you hold a press conference for your back up quarterback, seriously!!! The Jets are more about headlines than they are about wins. My prediction is Rex and the GM will be job hunting after another year of talk and bad football.

The NFL punished them for cheating. I’ll take their word over yours anyday, crybaby. The dumbest fans are from New England anyway, as well as the most jealous (just look at how jealous they have been of the Yankees for the last century).
