There's alot of talk and concern regarding Tannehill only having had 19 starts. Mark Sanchez had 16 starts, he was taken at #5. I think if you watch the tape, and compare the two of them coming out, you see a far superior prospect in Tannehill. Sanchez played with better pieces at USC too.

oldcracker, you're spot on with all your comments, and I hope you are right. But if the Browns take Tannehill with their 4th pick... I will quit being a Browns fan, again, for the 180th time in 10 years. That is, until the season starts, then I will be ALL IN once again. And most likely find my hopes and dreams of a winning season pummeled, along with my dignity, by mid season. Its a viscous and sadistic cycle. just say'n.

Am I absolutely crazy?? I am a Dolphins fan and I like what I see out of Weeden more than Tannehill.

I know #8 is considered too high for Weeden by most "experts"... But of the expected available guys that's who I want. I hope Tannehill is a smokescreen because when I watch him I see an ok passer who threw a pick for every 2 TDs. I watch Weeden and I see a guy with a very accurate lasercannon. Weeden makes ALL the throws. Everyone keeps griping about his age... I don't get it.... Who cares if he's older? In today's NFL coaches and GMs don't need to worry about whether or not a guy can play 15 years... Because if they can't have a winning QB within 2-3 years the whole regime is gonna get fired anyway.

Screw age and screw "raw potential" Miami needs to draft the guy who already looks the part of an NFL QB and that guy is Brandon Weeden.

So I'll ask you guys again, am I absolutely crazy... Or do some of you actually agree with me??

I know the Browns had a problem scoring points but, there is depth at WR & RB in this draft, especially with the picks they have available.

Since we missed out on RG3, why not go for the CB Claiborne and seal up the secondary. Then, go with a WR & a RB with the next 2 picks. That still leaves Weeden or Cousins available to back up Colt. (Cousins looked pretty good at times)

People forget that Colt McCoy was not picked until the 3rd round...it was expected that he would be a project. Secondly, he's had neither protection nor targets. Then toss in the fact that he's been through several Head Coaches, several Offense Coordinators, and no preseason to learn the West Coast Offense. Give Colt a legitimate chance to sink or swim! I believe he is going to surprise a lot of people if H & H can fill some of those holes.

Only a stupid GM and coach would be all-in with Flynn at this point. Since when does a team not draft a QB because they just signed an unproven one? That kind of logic explains why so many fans have no clue how this game works.

Look at a Jets fan talking trash about QB's... So Miami hasn't had one since Dan Marino. The Jets haven't had one since Namath... Unless you count Tim Te-blow as a QB
