It’s football. Defenses are supposed to go after the opposing QB in any way they can. If they aren’t, they’re not doing their job.

As it was, the Saints never launched with their heads or hit Favre or any other player in the head in that game. I’ve seen worse in many other games.

It’s still sour grapes in the end, nothing more. It’s hypocritical to complain about the Saints when every other team at some point tries to hurt the other. It’s why WRs don’t like to run routes over the middle of the field. It’s why the LT is the second most important position on the team after the QB. Next time a player on your favorite team launches or intentionally tries to hurt (and they will – just go back and watch every game last year and tell me your team didn’t try to hurt somebody), will you stop being a fan of your team?
