You don’t come back from an achilles in less than a year. Second, whats the fastination with ex-Bills tackles in Pennsylvania? Jonathan Scott, Jason Peters, and now Bell. I’m a Bills fan, and wanted to keep Bell, and I’m sure the current regime would have, but Scott wasn’t very good for Bflo or the Steelers(see Ben’s sack count). I like Bell, but he gets hurt way to easy and often. You cannot count on him for the long haul.Third, Edwards will go at no. 10 to the Bills. the fact the Bills didn’t even try to resign him with the money they’ve been tossing around should tell you something about him. The Bills coachs build LT’s out of whole cloth. Bell was a basketball player and Peters was an undrafted TE. I hope Bell does OK, but I wouldn’t count on him for anything other than a backup.

Peters is a huge loss. We cannot take some random FA off the heap and plug him in. Thankfully Vick is a lefty and his blind side is covered still.

We do not ‘need’ the top level LT for a players blind side. we need a serviceable T that can be a utility man when(if) Peters returns.
