To all the Tebow haters in here or anywhere else, how about getting informed before passing ignorant judgement.
This kid is a 24 year old virgin and openly admits it. He’s proud of it and good for him. Was I a virgin at that age? Hell knaw, but I’m not him.
This kid also helped unfortunate children in the Phillippines during his high school spring break. Did I do the same during my high school break? Hell Knaw! I was hunting chucks. Again, I’m not him.
The moral is that this wonderful kid is different. In a damn good way.
Does he have designs on the starting qb job? Hell yeah, and he should. He’s a professional, isn’t he? What the hell is wrong with that?!? Is he going to come out and say he’s after the job? No! Can you imagine the scrutiny?
Give him a break, for goodness sake! With all the bad in this world, how about some wholesomeness, even if you don’t like him.
He’s a helluva kid. You think pro sports doesn’t need good people?!? Good grief!!
I’d love for my daughter to bring this kid home, just like his former boss said.
Give ‘em hell, Timmy! Kick ass, son!

I wasn’t really suggesting anything, I honestly am not aware of his being asked or any answer he might have given. I’m neither a fanatic nor a hater of TT so I tune out media coverage of him when it sends me into TT overload. And the fact is that when TT sneezes there’s media coverage. So I am surprised that his answer, if any, wasn’t some hot media topic either way. Maybe it was and I missed it.

TT MAY be P-A, I just haven’t seen evidence to back that up. And to those who bring up the billboard in Denver, was TT ever asked about it? If so, what did he say? You can’t just use the fact he said nothing in that particular situation as a piece of evidence to suggest he’s not a good guy.

No, it’s not selfish if that is what the offense is built to do. Few, if any, called Vick selfish at his height.

You can’t compare about a whole real season to two full ones from Sanchez. Orton is better than anyone Sanchez had to beat out and there are two different rookie QB schools: sit ‘em a year to learn or throw them to the wolves.

For the record, I like Sanchez better than Tebow. I’m just calling you on your fallacious argument.

What I can’t stand is someone who hides behind the holier than though veil. He says all this crap when in reality he wants to be on the big stage, he wants the limelight lights on and he doesn’t really give a crap if a Kyle Orton or Mark Sanchez gets dissed in the process.

Deep down he’s just like a lot of people, out to get what he can get for himself and to heck with everyone else.

Every time I see him take a knee it really means he’s praying God takes it out on the other team. Can’t have it both ways.

The one thing I do know is Tim Tebow is a better FOOTBALL PLAYER than Mark Sanchez.

To be fair, Tim has not been taking snaps from a first team offense in training camp or practice for an entire year. The guy hasn’t even been a starter for a full year in the NFL.

Sanchez might be the better QB now but he is in no way on the same level as a FOOTBALL PLAYER than Tebow.

Tim will be the starter by week 5 if the Jet’s fail under Sanchez.

Tim Teblow doesn’t deserve to be a starting quarterback in the NFL, he can’t even carry Mark Sanchez’s jock strap much less be a real NFL quarterback. Maybe Teblow ought to try the CFL or maybe Arena Football, you know the Mickey Mouse versions of football.

A real shame that the christian fanatics are ruining football trying to promote this deadbeat as god’s choice or favorite. A bigger shame that the sports pundits promote this garbage as well trying to curry favor with the dimwits who don’t understand that god has nothing to do with sports or anything else.

All you Tebow haters HAVE to throw in the “Jesus” thing. I’m not a Denver Fan and SURLY NOT A JETS fan but Tebow made a name for himself because he stepped up and tried his hardest in Denver. You think HE started the whole “Tebowmainia” thing? Just because the guy is a Christian has nothing to do with whether he plays a good game or not. He stepped up, took advantage of a situation and played the best he could. He sure has more balls than Payton Manning or Tom Brady to run with the ball if he see’s an opening. I hope he does well in NY but he’s only one guy. When the rest of the team sucks, they STILL won’t have a Super Bowl chance. Why? Rex Ryan SUCKS!!!! Hearing about Tebow is still better then all the Manning crap. The guys a dork and with a neck THAT BIG, it’s no wonder he’s have issues with it.

Just like ESPN magazine’s article about what-if Michael Vick was white, I wonder how people would respond if Tim Tebow was black? Would he only have one name? Would he be so popular? Would everyone say he’s just a running QB that can’t throw? I seriously doubt he’d have all the media attention he gets. Rex Grossman is a better passing QB, at least he’s been to the Super Bowl. But we don’t love him, because he doesn’t answer every question with and beginning, end every interview with “My lord and savor, Jesus Christ.” Would you give Dennis Dixon the same amount of love if he started half a season and got the Broncos to the playoffs? Would he have to celebrity-thank-God for everything first?

It’s INSANE, how much people love this guy, and for no good reason. There are good people in all our lives, it’s ridiculous to crown a bad QB something special based on nothing he does great on the field. He can do great things with his life, and I know he will, but all this football stuff has got to stop.
