Just because he declined to do private workout for teams dont mean he thinks he’s too good or above the workouts. He had a proday. all those who want to do a private workout with him should have attended his PRODAY. if finding the franchise QB was SOOOO important to the INDY clan, they would have sent the top dogs to his proday. Dont get mad at him for saying no.

Grigson (GM) and Pagano (head coach) were both at RG3s pro day try research before you randomly comment whatever YOU believe.

Maybe RG3 and Marion barry can make headlines together over there in the wonderful crime world of DC... Shows you how stupid DC is, if your mayor gets caught in a crack ring, and can get reelected, that says enough... So to say DC is a "destination" spot, I think myself and most of the nation would disagree. The only reason I would take anyone there is to wake kids up, and say, this is how not to live your life.... Or else, you end up living here... Isn't Barry still on the city council?? What a joke..... DC better than the sports capital of the world.... Lmao, when you guys can host a couple of world class events, other than the pimps players ball.... Don't ever disrespect another city.....

Jake you are way, way off. First of all, the Redskins aren't run by Dan Snyder anymore. They're under new management with Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan. Last year's draft -- not only in amassing the amount picks they obtained from the relatively few they started with but whim they ended up picking -- is but one example that strongly impugns your point, which would've been true a few years ago but certainly not now. As for the Colts, they got rid of one key persons (Bill Polian) that built them to become a dominating team with Peyton under center. Among many many other things, the Colts resigned an aging Robert Mathis and have an aging bookend in Dwight Freeney, and released some other key individuals that they haven't yet replaced. While it remains to be seen how the Colts do under new management who are the team to be suffering from an owner meddling problem itself, the Redskins are clearly well ahead of the Colts and unless things change will continue that way.

desmondclee - disagree. Colts are a well-run organization that is simply starting a rebuild. There is no reason to think in 3-4 years that they will become a strong young team for another 15 years just like last time. On the other hand, the Skins are a crappy run organization who have never been able to develop their young players under Snyder. He is a meddling owner that stunts growth by overpaying aging/fading stars instead of investing in his own. It hasn't been a month and he had already overpaid for WRs Garcon and Morgan. The odds are better that the Colts will rise from the ashes than the Skins becoming a powerhouse for the next 15 years.

Griffin has nothing to prove at this point. He can have a great workout with the Colts and they could still draft Luck anyway. Why risk a fluke injury at this point working out for teams who may never draft him?

Griffin has done his job. He's improved and solidified his draft stock through the combine and his pro day. Now all that's left is to make it to the draft healthy, get his contract signed, and get his career started.

What is wrong with colts fans thinking they're so much better than the redskins. Your owner really built a great team? Manning has saved that franchise for years and proved they are nothing without him. The skins have a somewhat decent team with no qb.

Before you get crazy trashing the skins look at the mess in indy and why you have that #1 pick.

Spot on analysis Florio

Aside from the soon forgotten pride of being the #1 pick, all 1st round picks now have a high incentive to play their way out of their rookie contract.

If Irsay's put the word out he's ruled out a re-negotiation early on, I wouldn't be surprised if Luck quietly lobbies for DC.

If you're RGIII (or Luck, for that matter), why in world would you want to play for the Colts?

In the first place, the Colts are a huge wreck going into the 2012 season; on the flip side, the Redskins are a team on the rise. For those of you who'd like to take issue with my description of the Redskins, you can't doubt the fact that the Redskins are clearly not in the same stage of rebuilding the Colts are and provide much more of an opportunity for a young QB (or any other player) to succeed.

Also, apart from things like DC being much more of a cosmopolitan city than Indy is, Colts fans are looking at the new QB to fill Peyton's shoes. That's a hugely tall order that's really unfair to Peyton's successor. With the way things are going in Indy right now, the ultimate replacement will probably fall well short of the Colts' faithful's expectations on whom they'll view as Manning version 2.0.

On the other hand, Redskins fans, who all too frequently wish for far too much in new-fangled quick-fix solutions, are comparing RGIII to the laughably lamentable duo of Rex Grossman and John Beck. Indeed, if RGIII avoids the record-setting turnover rate featured by Sexy Rexy last year and Beck's penchant for staring at a pass rush only to fall victim to it, that in and of itself will be a huge upgrade. In fact, if that does happen, you can expect to see a three or four game improvement based on that alone.

In all, there's simply no reason for anyone to be jumping at the opportunity to go to Indy, especially a young QB. Unfortunately, both of them have to talk the talk about their supposed desire to play for the Colts in case they face their day of reckoning on April 26. While no one wants to fill in as the captain of the Titanic, you'd better pretend to be gleeful in case they become your next employer.

So all of the slick comments about what our organization has done can end because last time i check, Manning resurrected yall franchise. Either QB will resurrect our franchise.
Just because he declined to do private workout for teams dont mean he thinks he's too good or above the workouts. He had a proday. all those who want to do a private workout with him should have attended his PRODAY. if finding the franchise QB was SOOOO important to the INDY clan, they would have sent the top dogs to his proday. Dont get mad at him for saying no.

Listen people...the media is trying to spark up a new story with the Colts considering Rg3 over Luck. Free Agency is quiet, the Peyton Manning fiasco is over, the Bounty is over and now they need a life. The Colts will draft Luck, who is 90% of the reason Irsay cut Manning in the first place. Luck has been viewed as a successor, not RG3. It is pointless to work out for anyone, including the Colts, when you know the Redskins will be selecting you with the #2 pick in the draft.

Why would anyone want to play for the sh*tty Colts, just so they can be the #1 pick?!?!

That team is about to be bent over by the entire AFC South. Their only hope is that they're in the sh*ttiest divsion in the AFC.

In 2011, we lost 6 of 10 games by a TD or less...come to DC RGIII, our defense has got you!!!

The fact is the Colts would take Andrew Luck if RG3 stepped on to the practice field and turned into the Incredible Hulk. Everyone already knows who the first 3 picks are. This speculation stuff is retarded.
