Thanks for the Louisiana Senate trying to help New Orleans Saints because the NFL Commissioner is going off of hear say and the Saints have all the NFL Organizations against them like they are the only team in the NFL as they are saying that had a bounty program if there was one. When anyone of the other 49 State legislatures passes the same resolution then I too will support some lienency for the Taints. Love my home state, but these dudes are smoking something. Never gonna happen. The NFL does not care about what you guys think. I feel that the punishment was too harsh simply because the evidence hasn’t been presented to the public that players were paid to injure. If and when they present the evidence that shows that then I would probably think differently. If they were paid to injure, then they deserve punishment, Sean Payton shouldn’t have let it continue, simple as that. Once they were investigated for it after the first season they should have stopped. Love the Saints, one of the biggest Saints fans ever but I say take your punishment, get over it, and go play ball.

For the coaches that’s plenty of evidence. For the players they will need to prove that players participated in it which will be the more interesting discipline.

Cry all you want, they were caught and busted. Suck it up. And another thing, punctuation is a good thing!!

‘Your’ Saints ran a bounty programme encouraging your players to deliberately target injury on other pro-sportsmen for cash payments . This is against the league rules that apply to all 32 teams.

Expect a severe punishment for this misdemeanour.

Expect that punishment to then be doubled when your executive management lied to the commissioner about the existence of that bounty programme.

Expect the players involved to also then be sanctioned for being involved; not only for breaking NFL salary cap rules, but I suspect the IRS will also be intested in learning about payments of undeclared taxable incomes.

If Louisiana thinks the punishment is over, it may not have barely started yet.
