I can’t believe over 500 idiots on this site agree with thankheavanfornumberseven. So you guys really think it’s a great idea for the Colts to pass on Luck and take RG3, just to beat the Redskins in a pre-season game. Wow, alot of people must be drinking creek-water down in Cowgirl country.

I just hope the Redskins don’t ruin another QB which seems to be the norm there as well as the Browns. Griffin has a lot of talent. I’d hate to see him not get a fair chance. Let him play, let him make his mistakes before you pull the plug on this kid.

Dude you couldn’t be farther from the truth. I was just at the Dulles card show in Chantilly and Vick is a small guy at 6′ barely 215lbs and RG3 is 6’3″ 230lbs, and believe me you could tell the difference when meeting them in person. A little more weight makes a difference when taking hits in the NFL, and RG3 is definitely more accurate as a passer.

There are 3 things that you can count on in life “Death, Taxes, and Haters are going to Hate”! Damn, give the kid a chance before he puts on the uniform, and no Skins fan is actually expecting this kid to take us to the playoffs the first year he enters the NFL. This is a building process, it takes time and a stable coaching staff in order to build continuity and success. I do hope that Dan Snyder gives Shanahan at least 3 years with Griffin, we can’t afford to fire yet another coach and have a new coaching staff attempt to teach this guy a new offense, it was the downfall of Jason Campbell. And whether this kid were drafted by a different team, I’d still wish him the best, just as I wish Andrew Luck the best, and whether the Skins get RG3 or Andrew Luck, we are in a good position as far as the QB position is concerned.

I am so much dumber for having taken the time to read these comments. There are so many idiots on here who do not get sarcasm. No one is seriously worried about who wins a meaningless preseason game between the Skins and Colts. It’s called humor.

And the poor grammar and punctuation is disturbing. The lack of understanding on how to use were/we’re, they’re/there/their, hear/here, its/it’s is just maddening. Our country is in serious trouble being left in the hands of the Twitter generation. Good God!!

I am not sure what the bigger crock is, fined for cap issues in 2011 when it is obvious that the Skins didn’t break any rules or this paying players under the table during Superbowl runs which never actually happen.

This isn’t cheating but you’ve got to keep an eye on the Shanahans, fined this year for cap issues in 2011 and fined for both Denver Super Bowl seasons for paying players under the table,players they couldn’t afford to keep and would have been lost to free agency.

The new CBA clearly states that a team cannot talk to NFL free-agents before the start of free-agency. But they can visit Draft prospects in there hometown or at there schools.

The Redskins are in the biggest win-win situation of all time. Both quarterbacks are great prospects, and the Redskins are assured to get one of them. If quarterback is the primary need, which it obviously is, then they have brilliantly navigated their way into a great spot.
