Griffin weighs 220 pounds, Michael Vick weighs 216, they both run and are both always going to be injured. They just wasted a boat load of picks on a guy who will play 10 -12 games a year."

Dude you couldn't be farther from the truth. I was just at the Dulles card show in Chantilly and Vick is a small guy at 6' barely 215lbs and RG3 is 6'3" 230lbs, and believe me you could tell the difference when meeting them in person. A little more weight makes a difference when taking hits in the NFL, and RG3 is definitely more accurate as a passer.

There are 3 things that you can count on in life "Death, Taxes, and Haters are going to Hate"! Damn, give the kid a chance before he puts on the uniform, and no Skins fan is actually expecting this kid to take us to the playoffs the first year he enters the NFL. This is a building process, it takes time and a stable coaching staff in order to build continuity and success. I do hope that Dan Snyder gives Shanahan at least 3 years with Griffin, we can't afford to fire yet another coach and have a new coaching staff attempt to teach this guy a new offense, it was the downfall of Jason Campbell. And whether this kid were drafted by a different team, I'd still wish him the best, just as I wish Andrew Luck the best, and whether the Skins get RG3 or Andrew Luck, we are in a good position as far as the QB position is concerned.

Fyi, I’ve heard some really dumb suggestions on hear but. To pass up on the guy you want(Andrew Luck), to replace the best the thing that ever hit Indianapolis (Peyton Manning). Just to spite the Redskins, or to win a meaningless preseason game is the DUMBEST idea yet!!!WOW
_________

Do you ever wonder why so many people thumbs up a comment that you think is the dumbest idea yet? Do you ever wonder if maybe there's something you don't quite get?

I am so much dumber for having taken the time to read these comments. There are so many idiots on here who do not get sarcasm. No one is seriously worried about who wins a meaningless preseason game between the Skins and Colts. It's called humor.

And the poor grammar and punctuation is disturbing. The lack of understanding on how to use were/we're, they're/there/their, hear/here, its/it's is just maddening. Our country is in serious trouble being left in the hands of the Twitter generation. Good God!!

The Redskins really try to cheat the system any way they can (tampering with free agents so that they can sign them 5 minutes into free agency; dumping salaries into a non-cap year; and now basically opening their offseason program before the allowed date).

Oh well, it makes it all the more enjoyable when their BS fails and they suck year after year. Losers!

Just like it will make it all the enjoyable to see of the haters on this site eat their words. Who ever team you claim to be a fan of , it will give me great pleasure to watch RG3 eat up your D.

Fyi, I've heard some really dumb suggestions on hear but. To pass up on the guy you want(Andrew Luck), to replace the best the thing that ever hit Indianapolis (Peyton Manning). Just to spite the Redskins, or to win a meaningless preseason game is the DUMBEST idea yet!!!WOW

The Redskins are in the biggest win-win situation of all time. Both quarterbacks are great prospects, and the Redskins are assured to get one of them. If quarterback is the primary need, which it obviously is, then they have brilliantly navigated their way into a great spot.
So, if everyone is so sure that Indy will grab Luck, as they should, why haven't they signed him already?

And while I'm here, what is up with the 42 free agents and no offer sheets. Collusion? Isn't this similar to what the NFL is dinging the 'Skins and 'Boys for?
