This is bigger loss than most people think. Had Ballard not made a number of absolutely key catches throughout the season, no chance NY even gets into the playoffs. Wish the guy nothing but the best and a speedy and full recovery. There are always a few guys on each Super Bowl team that are just along for the ride and don’t really earn their ring. NO one can question Ballard’s ring. He earned it many times over.

Please, Giants — stay away from drafting a TE in anywhere in the first three rounds. There are other, more pressing needs — ILB, for one.

Dang he was on his way to being a really productive TE for us guess we will see u in 2 years that is the normal recovery time for this injury just ask Kenny Phillips…

Doesn’t matter who the Giants have at Tight End, Mike Pope is one of the best TE coaches and will make any player better (i.e. Kevin Boss, Jake Ballard)

We really should try to draft the TE out of Stanford, Fleener! Had an amazing pro day, and would be a soild addition with blocking and catching skills.
