Fisher was hired to coach a team who’s QB was Billy Joe Tolliver, he then went through Dave Kreig and Chris Chandler before being able to start McNair. It just so happened that while having McNair, he also had a roadgrinder O-Line and Eddie George.

When McNair was released, he had to deal with another running QB only that one, couldn’t throw the ball. Vince Young was forced on him by Bud Adams. He then had to turn to Kerry Collins and it just so happened that he could then lean on Chris Johnson.

Also, If you’d like to add his years as an assistant (Defensive) to his stats, You’d also need to add in Joe Montana/Steve Young from 92-93, Jim Everett from 1991, Ron Jaworski/Randall Cunningham from 1986-1990, and Jim McMahon with the Bears in 1985…

For what it’s worth, Fisher didn’t start making his own draft picks until Floyd Reese was fired.

Dyson was on Reese, The release of Derrick Mason was due to the Titans being $25M over the cap.

For a coach that didn’t care for the passing game, Fishers teams passed for 3,000 yards or more 14 times in 16 years.

I consider myself “warned”.

Seven of the top nine rushing teams in the league won at least seven games last year.

Statistically teams are running the ball as much as they did 20 years ago.

So apparently the running game is not extinct.

If Fisher’s system has shown anything, it’s that he can win games with a marginal passing game. Which is good, because that’s what he’ll have in 2012.

The Rams running game is one dimensional and easy to defend. Having Richardson and Jackson in his backfield will make life easier for Bradford, and gives the team an identity on offense for the next couple seasons until Sam proves he’s able to put the team on his shoulders.

Kenny Britt was a first round receiver.

This is exactly what I warned St. Louis fan about with this dinosaur. He still believes you games running between the tackles. He would rather cut off a leg than draft a reciever in the top 10.

But you can’t knock his system. It’s gotten him into the playoffs 35% of the time over his coaching career.

I remember Torry Holt urging the Rams to trade UP for Tye Hill.

SJ39 is a good player and all; doesn’t mean he knows squat about drafting.

The guy does NOT care about the passing game and never has.
