Getty ImagesAnother day, another team in the top half of round one shows interest in quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
With the Browns at No. 4 and the Dolphins at No. 8 and the Chiefs at No. 11 and the Seahawks at No. 12 and the Eagles at No. 15 interested (supposedly) in Tannehill, the Bills at No. 10 are now in the mix.
Peter King of SI.com reports via Twitter that Tannehill has wrapped up a workout and a visit with the Chiefs, that the Browns will be next, and then the Bills.
The Bills’ interest is, on the surface, confusing. Last season, Buffalo gave a long-term contract to starter Ryan Fitzpatrick, and they landed on the hook for another $5 million on the seventh day of the 2012 league year.
Still, the Bills could roll the dice on Tannehill, given that Fitzpatrick’s contract is essentially a year-to-year proposition.
Or maybe the Bills are simply hoping that the Chiefs, Seahawks, Eagles, and anyone else picking after No. 10 who wants Tannehill will feel compelled to move to No. 9 or higher, taking Tannehill and pushing down the board one of the players whom the Bills actually want.

I’d be shocked if Tannehill isn’t drafted by the Dolphins. They need a franchise QB and even though Tannehill has a lot of negatives in his game, he can become their franchise QB.
Whether or not he should be, Tannehill will be off the board long before the #9 pick. Teams may have to trade all the way up to the #3 to be sure to grab him.
I think they’re just doing their due diligence like they did with RG3.

SSssshhhh…
Hold out if KC drafts ya. That’s where quarterbacks go to die!
Makes sense at pick 10 there’s no real pick for them any position would help some but no player stands out as a must have for buffalo
Don’t take Tannebum Cleveland,he sucks.
Best guess: the Bills, like everyone else, feel he’s going to Miami and they want to get a close up look at him before having to face him for real.
Maybe they are looking at him as a WR. I mean after all he was that until last year. Ok guys stop I am joking.
The last speculation seems most plausible…..”taking Tannehill and pushing down the board one of the players whom the Bills actually want”.
The Bills do need a QB. But might be interested in trading down to get Blackmon?
If I was Buffalo I would get that OT from Iowa with first pick then either take another solid offensive player or a top WR in second round?
Please don’t screw tha draft up & take undersized players.
Bring in the player your division rival might probably want even if you don’t want them… simple game theory.
