Ted Thompson does not sign older veterans who have an injury history as severe as Leonhard.

He’ll draft at least one safety and one DB soon, if not three DBs.

If Collins cannot return, then M.J. Jennings will get first chance if he can beat out Charlie Peprah, who still may be the starter again (given Jennings is raw and unproven).

good luck to Jim, even though I hate the Jets, Leonhard is a guy that’s tough not to root for…I still remember the days when the Bills coaches were so inept that they had him as a reserve safety and a spot punt returner only to see him land starting gigs shortly after on two very good defenses
