All those punishments for something every freakin team does in the NFL AND college in some similar fashion.

Players admit they try to take out the best players on opposing teams cause it will increase the odds of winning

Goodell is going power crazy and over the top because all of these former players are sueing now .

The Saints are being railroaded for fear of lawsuits.
Just like George Zimmerman is being railroaded for fear of riots.

He has to let this “discipline” dog and pony show go on as long as possible, but in the end it will do nothing to ease the financial pain of trying to make a thousand law suits go away. It was good CYA attempt though.

It will also be interesting to see how much cap room the suspensions free up for Loomis to finalize a deal with Brees. I believe they have only 500K of cap room right now plus what they have tied up in the franchise tag.
