How can you give out punishments, and still be in the process of collecting evidence? Talk about a dictatorship

1) Yes, private entities are dictatorships. Did you just hatch from an egg?

2) Is it a problem if a person is caught on tape committing a crime, and then some finger print data rolls in after?

3) This data will go a long way in determining punishments FOR THE PLAYERS, which haven’t been handed out yet.

This clown is taking advantage of an opportunity that presented itself when he decided to take action against the wishes of Gleason. Pamphilon had access only because of Gleason. It seems clear that he is interjecting himself into this situation for personal gain, either financial or public notoriety. He is a scumbag.

Gregg Williams & Jeff Fisher were both defensive assistants on Buddy Ryan’s Eagles teams. My guess is Fisher’s name is being kept out of this so they don’t have to justify NOT investigating all of the teams Ryan or his disciples coached for. That’s a lot of teams including the ’85 Bears & the ’00 Ravens-two sacred cows of ‘defensive excellence’. As content as I am to joyfully watch the Saints twist in the wind & struggle under the awful weight of that huge * , I’m also beginning to think the NFL is sorry they couldn’t also give the Saints a pass on it. Probably just too many people had seen or heard too much. This is the information age, after all.
Also, Drew Brees is STILL waiting for an explanation people!

really low for goodell to ask for those tapes…he has 50K pages of emails as evidence, steve gleason didn’t authorize release of those tapes if there was a contract agreement between the 2..why does goodell feel he should have access to those recordings? Goodell sucks!

I know it’s easy to edit film to put yourself in a better light, but if you watch “Run Ricky Run” he seems like a pretty decent guy. Also he recorded a documentary for Gleason’s son. He can’t be the devil is all I’m saying.

The tapes in their entirety. Not the edited versions. No one heard coach Williams tell his squad to play it clean because that last minute was left off the tape that was released to the public.

Pamphilon shouldn’t give those recordings to anyone–least of all NFL Security. Sorry, but this guy is a filmmaker and this is his livelihood. It’s not self-serving to market your own product–it’s business. If he owns those recordings, he should turn them into a documentary and sell it. If ownership of the recordings is still in dispute, he shouldn’t give them to anyone until that is resolved.

If he can prove ownership, he can let Goodell hear the recordings without letting them out of his possession. But I’d make sure Goodell wasn’t carrying any recording devices and make him check his cell phone at the door.

Does anyone remember “Buddy Ball”? Back in the 80s Buddy Ryan had the body bag game against the Redskins and ended Jess Atkins career, along with knocking out all the QBs to where Brian Mitchell QB the game with Jeff Bostic becoming the sole player on the team left to play QB if Mitchell got hurt. Buddy’s boys (Andre Waters and others) said the would go out to hurt the skins. The case is Greg Williams has a disciple of Buddys, so this scandle goes further back than the Saints

I am guessing this is why the player punishments haven’t been decided yet. They are trying to find out if there is even more evidence of certain players’ involvement – either those they already had proof about and those they didn’t think they had enough proof of wrongdoing with but the tapes could now convince them one way or the other. Or, involvement by others they hadn’t know about yet.

Although the Saints organization will likely ban this guy for life, he can almost write his own check when it come s to the league as a whole.

If he plays ball and tries NOT to be an “investigative reporter”, the NFL would surely grant him a favor of his choosing further down the line.
If he plays his hand smart he can have the kind of access and career that only NFL Films has the luxury to enjoy. So stop trying to pop yourself into the spotlight and cut yourself a deal that can make you VERY wealthy in the long run.

This is his lottery ticket and he’s about to throw it out the window, you know he will and I know he will.
