Tebow gets booed at Yankees game

While attending a Yankees game on Friday, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said that the “feels bad” for “the Sanchez” because fans will be cheering for backup quarterback Tim Tebow during the first game of the 2012 season.

New York fans attending Sunday’s game at Yankees Stadium got a chance to chime in.

Art Stapleton of the Record reports via Twitter that Tim Tebow was shown on the large video monitor attending the game, and that his image was greeted with “loud boos.”  Later, Stapleton explained it as “[f]aint cheers” and “mostly boos.”

Though we won’t know what the fans at MetLife Stadium will do until they assemble for a Jets game and Tebow trots onto the field, it’s safe to say that Tebow won’t be hearing many cheers if/when he starts burning worms and/or putting balls in the front row.

UPDATE 10:29 p.m. ET:  The Associated Press item from the game also says that Tebow was booed.

  1. The reason why he got booed is because most Yankees fans are also NY Giant fans just like most NY Met Fans are also NY Jets fans. So Yankees/Giants fans don’t like him and booed him.

  2. Over/under on bible thumpers that try to make this about NY being Satan’s playground as opposed to the fact that as nice as Tebow might be, he is a terrible qb?

  3. Dwayne wade was on the big screen with Tebow, so it is difficult to judge– but the boos were loud!

  4. In fairness, my understanding of the NY sports scene is that most Yankees fans are Giants fans. It could have just been them booing a Jet, regardless of who it is. Frankly I don’t care one way or the other.

  5. So most giants fans like the Yankees, right?? And they booed a jets player!! Shocking!! Next you’ll be telling me that Timmy tebow thanked the new York crowd for believing in him and was humbled by there emotion!

  6. The ground beneath Yankee stadium opened up, swallowing everyone. The only survivor was Tebow, who emerged from the rubble wearing a white robe and carrying a baby lamb.

  7. Gonna LOVE to watch the circus in New York this season! They’ll be cheering for him once they boo Sanchez enough they make him cry…then all the white Christians will be happy to watch their savior play again!

  8. Will you note the Yankees/Giants vs Mets/Jets tradition so it makes it seem more like Giants fan booing Teblow than Jets fans or are you in a mood tonight because of the Rangers? 😉

  9. New York fans would boo Jesus if he popped up on the monitor, no suprise. They’ll be chanting his name before the first snap of preseason.

Yeah, I scored 5 Td’s in a football game in high school twenty years ago. Stop living in the past, they will not see a 7th. ring in your lifetime son.

  11. Assuming they weren’t booing Wade, who was also on the screen and had just finished whipping the Knicks today, if it had been Sanchez on the screen the crowd would have burned down the monitor.

  12. I think we need another jets fans are mets fans/ yankees fans are giants fans comment. anyway, Sanchez has a bad game, they scream for tebow…tebow comes in and stinks it up even worse..what do they do then? The Jets have made a mess of their QB situation..

  13. “A Bunch of Tools from the Bronx got Drunk on Sunday Afternoon (as usual) and Booed a Celeb at a Yankee Game”

    — Fixed your headline for you.

  14. Another slow news day at pro tebow talk eh?! You should really find a new hobby like, say, discussing football.

I was confused until I realized you were also counting Super Bowl XL.

  16. Wasn’t Tebow a Braves fan when he went to Florida, a Rockies fan in Denver and now a Ynakee fan? Sounds like a bandwagon hopper! What would make it better if Jeter or A-Rod hit a line drive and nailed his face!

  17. Granted its painting with broad strokes, but it’s common knowledge that Yankee fans tend to be giant fans and met fans tend to be jets fans. All you had tonight was a bucnch of giants fan booing a jet.

New York fans like the team that’s winning (except for the Yankees, they will always love them). I remember the early years when Vinny Testaverde was getting to the AFC Championship games, and they had no clue the Giants were around after their embarrassment against the Ravens in the Super Bowl.

  19. WTF did Tebow do ?

All the guy does is stand for something.. And people act like he is the devil.. I never seen him tell the coaches in Denver he wanted to start.. He doesnt start crap or run over people like others in the league.. And yet everyone one her acts like a turd to this poor guy.. Im not a fan of his.. but come on..

You all know Denver could have picked him to be a TE or HB.. but no… They are the ones that picked him to be a QB.. And why in gods name would the jets trade for him? Hey Jets.. your coach is about to set your team back a few years.. Then he will be fired and then what

    KOOOOOOK!!

  21. HE BEAT THE JETS …AND BIG BEN (in the playoffs) WHEN HE HAS’NT EVEN BEEN THE STARTER FOR A FULL SEASON…..
people better be carefull what they wish for…that dude could retire a H.O.F.’r

  22. Tebow is not a Good QB, but he is GREAT person.. No player in the NFL has invited as many kids/sick adults to come watch him play in denver and pay for all their expenses. Only a city full of bigots like NY, would boo him.

  23. NY isn’t about kneeling down and being ostentatious about your faith. It’s about who can put the points on the board and even though I don’t care for Sanchize, Timothy is a fullback.

  24. “Way to boo a guy that has done nothing but positive things in both his personal and professional life. I hate the yankess and there stupid ass fans.”
    ___________________

As a fellow Browns fan, I hardly think we should be throwing stones from the porches of our glass houses.

Boo away, NY. It’s your Tebow-given right.

  25. They weren’t booing Wade. AP reports that when they showed Wade solo, he waved and got cheered. When they showed Tebow, only a smattering of cheers and a whole lotta boos.

Either way, I am sick of hearing about them both.

  26. I suppose all those classy New Yorkers that booed him today will also turn their noses up at all the charity work & donations from Tebow & his foundation.

  27. “The Tebow” or “The Sanchez”, who will prevail? This team is going to suck so hard next season yet still dominate the headlines. As Bart Scott once said, “Can’t Wait!!!” (eyeroll)

  28. Just another tebow story, can we go one week without a tebow story? This is why the broncos got rid of him, too much attention. Even Peyton manning is not getting that much attention on every aspect unless its football related.

  29. Typical media… I love how there’s no mention of the fact that D Wade was sitting directly behind him and it is more possible that the boos were intended for Wade since he dropped 28 this afternoon in a win against the KNICKS. I guess this reporters on a Tebow quota…

  30. Before we get to our obligatory citizenstrange sighting and our predictable “numbers that prove Ben R. never did anything to help the Steelers win, it’s all about the defense and run game” we present this little stat story, from the playoff run that started it all:

    ———————————————
Quarterback: Roethlisberger (2385 passing yards, 17 TD, 9 INT) had an outstanding regular season, posting a 98.6 passer rating and generally displaying the presence that led him to be named 2004 NFL Rookie of the Year, but reserved his best play for the postseason. “Big Ben” is 49-of-72 passing (68.1 percent) for 680 yards with seven touchdowns and just one interception through three 2005 playoff games, for a lusty passer rating of 124.8. Running Backs: The Steelers running game has struggled somewhat during the playoffs, with both Willie Parker (1202 rushing yards, 18 receptions, 5 TD), and Jerome Bettis (368 rushing yards, 9 TD) averaging well under four yards per carry. Parker has just 132 yards on 47 carries (2.8 avg.) on the ground…
    —————————————–

As you can see, the Steelers run game disappeared totally during the playoff run. Meanwhile, with no run support to help his passing game, Ben responds by AVERAGING 125 rating games during the playoff run.

Meaning he carried the offense on his back on the way to a ring.

Chew on that citizenstalker dude… and start waking up to reality.

There is kind of this famous song that they sing coincidentally at baseball games and their is a line that says “Root, root, root for the home team.”
See, when you leave one place that you were living and working at and go to another place to live and work, that place that you left is no longer your home. You have a new home and a new home team. Got it.

  32. steelersaresuperiorineveryway6welookdownandlaugh

Stop. Seriously. That routine of yours. It’s not doing you any favors.

  33. Not a news story. Yankees fans boo EVERYONE who isn’t in pinstripes. And if you really suck while wearing a Yankees uniform, they’ll boo, too. They’re basically only happy when they win the World Series.

  34. An article involving Tebow AND the Yankees?! I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

  35. Yep. For the most part it’s Yankees/Giants and Mets/Jets. Of course I live in CT and I know people that like the Yankees and Patriots but, we have names for those people – lol.

  36. and before anyone says ‘you’re a Steeler fan in CT, aren’t you one of those people?’ – I was born in Pittsburgh.

  37. Lets boo someone that’s done nothing but good in his life because that makes complete sense….real classy ny

  38. Yankee and Giant fans might be booin’ , but Jet fans will be making up victory dances soon…watch ‘ol 42 the FireDude lead them in TebowChants..heh-heh…Yeah, keep your eyes on the prize peoples….

  39. Tim Tebow being Boo…that must be blasphemy.

No one is suppose to boo the child of ….

Anyway, I’m sure Tim didn’t have a problem with the boos. He was getting attention. It seems as if that is all that matters to him.

  40. Granted its painting with broad strokes, but it’s common knowledge that Yankee fans tend to be giant fans and met fans tend to be jets fans. All you had tonight was a bucnch of giants fan booing a jet.

You’d think they’d (Giants fans) give him a little love after he embarrassed The Big Man’s team last year.

  41. Why show up with Dwayne Wade right before they play the Knicks? C’mon Tebow. This is New York.

  42. NY fans are terrible, booing a guy like Tebow, that is classless IMO

My response will be to boo and root against every NY team that I see in person or on TV

    NY teams are overrated anyway

  43. New York fans like the team that’s winning (except for the Yankees, they will always love them). Actually not really. Not if your a real fan and your original home HAD a team.

  46. so a guy that’s done nothing wrong is booed? They’ll cry and cheer lady gaga and kim kardashian, but they see a young man making a real difference in this world and they give him the cold shoulder.

what in the world gives new yorkers the entitlement that they are better than everybody? its a huge melting pot of arrogant jerks.

“but we are a tolerant society and we respect all cultures”

… except Christians, you know, the ones who really do make a difference in this world. The ones who spend their time and money helping others through the world’s largest charities and philanthropic organizations… But hey, we can just give all our money to the government and they can do that for us! hooray!

  47. OK this is completely false because I was at the Yankee game last night. Tebow was cheered and DWADE was initially booed, until he put up a yankee hat for the jumbo-tron.

  48. daveydawg says:

“If it bugs you that much that he’s a devoted Christian, maybe it’s time to ask yourself why that bugs you so much…”

I like Tebow as a person and believe he is a fine indiviudal. That said, you must be living in a bubble if you do not understand why a “devoted Christian” message would bug people. The Christian Right does not stop at promoting their way of life and living that lifestyle by example, they have politicized their beliefs and have tried to force others to live in accordance with their dogma . New York, one of the greatest multicultural cities in the world, does not take kindly to being told how to live.

  49. When Sanchez sucks again and Tebow comes in and starts winning again like he always does bet they won’t boo any longer.

  50. Forget all the “Those were Giants fans….” analysis…..they introduced Dwayne Wade just BEFORE Tim Tebow and HE got cheered. Are you trying to tell us there weren’t any Knicks fans at that game?

NYC fans are like the majority of the nation – we are tired to seeing Tebow grab EVERY spotlight, microphone and camera he can reach. Give it a rest – go work on throwing spirals and reading defenses.

  51. I believe we have a problem with Tebow because he prays about winning a football game instead of thousands of people who die from starvation every day. He forces his religion to people who are non-believers and have the right to say Jesus is an imaginery character with special powers like Superman or Scooby Doo.

  52. “If it bugs you that much that he’s a devoted Christian, maybe it’s time to ask yourself why that bugs you so much…”
    ________________

Could it possibly be less about him being a Christian and more about a backup QB of mediocre ability getting more ink than God himself?

I think a lot of people want him to fail so we can STOP HEARING ABOUT HIM, but even if he does fall into a black hole, the media will just replace him with another false idol.

  53. I love it when people from the midwest talk about people from the NY/NJ area.

I mean, after all, your region of the country wrote the book on class, right?

  54. “He forces his religion to people who are non-believers and have the right to say Jesus is an imaginery character with special powers like Superman or Scooby Doo.”

Give me one example of Tim Tebow “forcing” his belief of having a relationship with God on anyone? “Forcing” a religion on someone is Islamic beliefs bud. Meaning they will actually kill you if you don’t believe in Muhammad, and that is written in their holy text, the Quran.(Muhammad killed hundred of people over his lifetime.

And you saying Jesus was an “imaginary” character is just plain ignorant… not only did thousands of people witness Jesus alive and performing miracles, but hundreds witnessed Him alive walking around AFTER he was dead and laid in a tomb (with many of those accounts documented by the eye witnesses)…

Even the most skeptical and cynical historians will tell you that Jesus was a real person and actually lived over 2000 years ago… Its amazing what a man could do in only 2 1/2 years and yet transform history in that brief span. (Jesus was 30 when he began is ministry and he died at 32)

what have you accomplished in 2 years?

  55. WALTDOG-
considering the Yankees are only the most successful sports franchise in any American sport ever kinda leads me to believe you’re probably full of sh*t about everything else you talk about, too…

  56. @pilot2011… um no ‘bud’, there is very little evidence or mentioning of Jesus in the historical record of literature outside the bible, while most of the ‘history’ in the bible has been disproved or shown debatable at best. Hmm, evangelical christianity is precisely the attempt to force religion on others. Btw have you ever read the old testament? Talk about an abundance of murder for religion. Tebow is a jackass and a horrendous quarterback, on top of that I have to hear his ass on SC non-stop in interviews shouting i love my god, he is good, he is the greatest god etc etc. While this may not be ‘forcing’ it is f’ing annoying as all hell.

Jesus may have lived and may have been one of the greatest philosophers and public speakers of all time. But nothing he preached was new to moral philosophy (the golden rule) and just about every version of his zombie story is contradictory. Most of his story was stolen from egyptian legend. You believe in a fairy-tale, grow up and stop lying to yourself and others. You and tim tefraud.

  57. steelersfan-
if you live in Connecticut, the Yankees ARE your home team (at least if you’re in the western half of the state).
I grew up in RI and I am BY NO MEANS a blo sox fan. Had the great luck to have a father who played baseball and loved the Yankees.
Probably half of Connecticut and a quarter of Rhode Island are Yankees fans.

  58. @hammerjacker
So from your statement you are a supporter of when US citizens attended a World Cup Soccer Match in the United States and booed Team USA in the Rose Bowl against Mexico because they are originally from Mexico and they are true fans and therefore they should root for Team Mexico and boo Team USA. Heck we could extrapolate this out to other scenario hammerjack that you think that United States citizens should root against our Armed Forces and boo them if their original home has a military/armed force that is engaged in combat against the United States of America. Logic Much?

  59. Anyone who actually watched the game would know he was also sitting next to Dewayne Wade who hours earlier beat the knicks in the garden, just a guess but maybe they were booing him???

  60. @hammerjack
To make this more simple for you. If you are not a resident of the state, then that is not your home. Your home is where your claimed residency is. Don’t believe me, just go ask the IRS. Or do you not pay taxes and thus don’t understand such simple and fundamental facts in the adult world.

  61. @liquiddevilinc
considering the Yankees are only the most successful sports franchise in any American sport ever kinda leads me to believe you’re probably full of sh*t about everything else you talk about, too…

Actually they are tied with the Boston Celtics for 17 when everybody could play and compete equally in America in Professional Sports. There needs to be a BIG ASTERISK placed besides the New York Yankees 10 championships that they won in an ALL WHITE LEAGUE prior to baseball being integrated when Jackie Robinson first lead the way. Just putting 10 of those 27 championships into context. Or you can cheer for those 10 Racist Accomplishments. It is up to you.

  62. I’m missing something. Why wouldn’t them boo him? Half the people at that Yankee game were Giants fans. They showed a video of the jets quarterback (the Jets….their in-town rivals). Why wouldn’t they boo? If Tom Brady was at the game they would boo him, too – but it would be twice as loud as both Jets and Giants fan would be booing together.

The author jumped to conclusions here. Not all Yankees fans are Jets fans.

  63. Enough with the religion talk. People believe what they believe and that doesn’t make them any better/worse than anyone else that believes otherwise. There’s no proof either way – that’s why it’s called “faith”.

(And, no, please don’t try to present “hundreds of witnesses” as proof when I can find you 7 million people that were supposedly at the Immaculate Reception game, and that wasn’t even 2000 years ago in a land with a literacy rate of 2% and absolutely no mass media.)

  64. they were booing dwayne wade, who was also in the picture sitting behind him. Watch it on youtube.. or watch the game on mlb replay.

    Wow. just wow.

  65. Those weren’t boos- they were Bronx cheers. Gotta love Yankees fans- they’d boo Christ himself if he showed up in a Mets hat.

  66. Hey pilot2011,

You are a font of misinformation. Having a jackass like you defending so called Christianity, while attacking another ridiculous dogma does a disservice to inherently ignorant Christian extremists.

Have you no idea of the tens of millions of poor people who have been murdered and enslaved at the hands of so called Christians? None of the points you make here can be substantiated because none are based on fact. You are barely familiar with some of the fundamental precepts of your own religion. Just how freaking stupid is that?

  67. Ignoring the ideas presented above me I will just say this:
They weren’t necessarily booing tebow as Dwade was right next to him and when Dwade put on a NYY hat they started to cheer. It was Knicks fans.

  68. your internet muscles beat me pal. I’lll pray for you… just know this, God created you and he loves you. I’m not a strong enough man to say that I love you and Bill Maher, but Jesus is. He laid his life for you and the Bible says that every person will one day feel God’s presence at some point in their life, but you just have to let him. “Draw near to God and He’ll draw near to you.”

what do you have to lose? I know the main stream society says its not cool, or you’re ignorant if you believe in having a relationship with God, but I can tell you first hand how many lives I’ve seen changed for the better because they asked God into their lives. How many people do you know that has ever regretted turning to God?

    peace man. im out

    go panthers

  69. Hey pilot2011,

What “beat” you is your own ignorance and bigotry.

Please provide the chapter and verse where the bible says “every person will one day feel God’s presence at some point in their life”. You are a sheep. You believe in something you know very little about. You quote from a book you have obviously never read. You have had folks read it to you though, huh?

Organized religion has done more harm than good. Yeshua is ashamed of what you have done in the name of his Father. Accept it.

  70. Haha, what an arrogant prick you are! Wait till you have children one day bro, then you may experience what true love is all about, but I honestly find it near impossible for anyone to get along with you, much less a woman to bare a child with u… I no people like u, u think ur so smart and nobody or nothing is quite good enough… Enjoy seaching for ur happiness through your circunstances, while Joy is right in front of. You can find joy in even the most mundane day, and that comes from God… I’ll continue to be thankful for what I have and this great country we live in, and I’ll rest assured knowing your spending every waking moment of ur sad life finding all the negatives in this one short life we have. Good luck big guy

  71. True followers of Christ will never fail, man. It’s all about walking by faith, and not necessarily by sight. Everyone says that they’ll believe when they see it, but sometimes you have to believe to finally see.

Europe for example was once flourishing Christian continent, but their countries took God out of their livelihoods and look what road they’re going down right now.

The Bible doesn’t mention American, or even foreshadows this great land. But it does say that God will bless any land that befriends and protects Israel. We are the only country that legitimately stands by Israel, and we are an undoubtedly blessed country. Public figures that take a stand for Christ like Tim Tebow are what’s right with this country… Name one thing this kid has done that is negative or derogatory in any way. He may not be a great NFL qb, but he is a winner on and off the field.

  72. Dear religious bigots atom665 and hatesycophants ,
I will see your Christians and other Religious Followers who have committed atrocities in the name of their religion and raise you with 5 Atheists who committed atrocities in the name of their religion which is the STATE: Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Mao and Castro.

  73. @steelershaveobnoxiousclasslessfairweatherfans
Prove that the Old Testament god that MULTI-BILLION amount of people globally in the three major faiths of Judaism, Christianity and Islam does not exist scientifically. What metrics will you use for your data collection? What are your control variables, independent variable and dependent variable? How are you going to conduct and collect a random sampling of at least 1,000 dead people to conduct your interview to answer the question of: Is there an afterlife? How is this data going to be peer reviewed. It is better to remain silent, than open up your typewriter and type and remove all doubt. It is a belief. You can’t prove scientifically that there is, and conversely you can’t prove scientifically that there is not. It is what you believe. When you punch your ticket, then you will know scientifically the answer to that question. Until then, it is just a theory on both sides of the table. Hope you are right in your theory of doubt. If not, well….

  74. You guys figure it out. We can scientifically prove that the world is round and why the sky is blue…PROVE(however YOU want to…cause it’s your religion) that you’re all mighty powerful man in the sky with a white beard who answers some prayers but not all and gets mad at these people in this religious domain but not these other one in this other religious domain… having millions of followers is a strawman fallacy and claiming Hitler was an Atheist is just not correct, plus that claim is an ad hominem, in comparison to what I am asking…or atheism as you may know it as.

  75. @hatesycophants
Where in my writing did I state that I agree that Christians are equally as destructive as ATHEISTS. I am sorry that you possess the reading comprehension skills lower than a third grader hatesycophants. Let me try to explain to you a concept that is quite easy for most people to understand, but for you by your own admittance it is to complicated, and that is poker. In poker you are given 5 cards and then you get to bet on them against the other players. When I see your bet on your hand of cards and then raise it based on my hand, I am stating through my actions of raising you that my hand beats your hand. Do you call or raise? Just in those five ATHEIST’S accomplishments they murdered over 100,000,000 individuals and enslaved over 200,000,000 people combined. Considering the world population back in the Middle Ages and previous (that is when a lot of the Christian atrocities took place) was near 300,000,000 total or less and during the Age of Enlightenment and previous it was 600,000,000 or less (another major time when atrocities were committed by Christians in the name of their religion) I think I got you beat with my poker hand of five ATHEISTS cards. That means that I believe that even though Christians have committed atrocities in the name of their religion that I believe ATHEISTS are far more dangerous and EVIL than those Christians and have committed atrocities of evil of far worse magnitude than the world has ever seen. Way to ignore the fact that they are ATHEISTS. You just attempt to change the topic of the DEBATE, which is about who has committed worse atrocities, religious believers or non believers, to DESPOTISM. Sorry, you lose. You have been measured and found wanting hatesycophants.

  76. Dear steelershaveobnoxiousclasslessfairweatherfans,
You are comical, do you not realize that? The irony is so funny because your comment site user name is an ad hominem, yet you are complaining that I am making ad hominem, (attacks against the man) statements in reference to Adolf Freakin Hitler in this debate. Guilty. You got me. Everyday of the week and twice on Sunday will I attack the character of the EVIL, megalomaniacal sociopath Adolf Hitler. You got me. Guilty as charged. Next, I realize that including Adolf Hitler in the debate of Atheists is controversial, but I will take the word of one of the Preeminent Historians on Adolf Hitler in Alan Bullock, when Alan Bullock stated that the Nazi party and Adolf Hitler wanted to get rid of Christianity and the influence of the Church in his book Hitler: A Study in Tyranny. Read Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. Hitler was having Church’s Crosses replaced with him and Bible’s replaced with Nazi Propaganda Books to worship Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. See I judge men by their actions, not their words, and Adolf Hitler’s actions are those of an Atheist, but I digress. Are you the type of person who believes a man when he says that he did not have relations with that woman when his actions and the stain on the blue dress prove otherwise or that he is not a crook? Are Bullock and Shirer making unfounded ad hominem attacks against Adolf Hitler. Those in the historical world would laugh at you and dismiss you as I am (I have degrees, that is plural for individuals such as yourself that lack the reading comprehension to grasp such basic concepts, in this subject matter). How ironic and simple minded that you would focus on Hitler and ignore the other four Marxist/Communist/Socialist ATHEIST monsters. You do realize that Mao’s, Lenin’s/Stalin’s (They were a duo) atrocities make Hitler look like child’s play don’t you? No, you probably don’t because you are an intellectual lightweight. Next about your STRAWMAN debate claim. It is a fact, as I explicitly stated that MULTI-BILLIONS of individuals globally believe in the God of the Old Testament, but I also stated that they could not scientifically prove that the God of the Old Testament existed as much as you and non-believers globally can prove that he does not. It is a belief/theory on wether you believe in God and the afterlife or not. Neither side can prove anything, that is what I wrote. I am sorry that you have the reading comprehension of a kindergartner. How is that a STRAWMAN? Both sides can’t scientifically prove there theories/belief. See there is this thing called the scientific method, and it starts with a question, which in this case is “Is God and the afterlife real?” We can research it and form hypothesis and theories based on our research as believers and non believers have, but it CAN’T be tested. THAT IS A FACT. In a scientific peer reviewed case, you have to prove that there is or there is not and because of that there is not or there is. Prove Positive = Negative False. Prove Negative = Positive False. Believers can’t prove the positive, and the non believers can’t prove the negative. Got it? And thus we have a draw, or in chess an impasse. That is what a belief or theory is. Can’t prove it one way or another. You are a chump and you got owned in this debate. Stop embarrassing yourself.

  77. @shade,

Uh, yeah, you win. You are the very personification of what happens when a bit of knowledge gets into the hands of a nitwit. Let me guess. You’re taking a basic statistics class? Good luck and please stop butchering the language.

  78. @hatesycophants
Once again you demonstrate your lack of reading comprehension. DEGREES. That means I have more than one with special little letters after my name as my title. You have committed The ultimate act of a LOSER on a comment site hatesycophants as you put on your dress, lipstick and wig and became a GRAMMAR QUEEN. Wouldn’t have expected anything less from you. Keep focusing on grammar hatesycophants and not the issues and facts of the debate because you HATESYCOPHANTS are a RELIGIOUS BIGOT.

  79. Just because you “prove” your “intelligence” by that which you could get out of a text book or google, does not prove you to be right in this debate…lil something called Strawman Fallacy. Another Strawman Fallacy is one that insults someone’s character (e.g. Username) to prove that they know more about a subject, when what you tried to prove (that my username is a ad hominem) isn’t even directly part of the debate. I just heard a bunch of rhetoric! Nothing proves that all your anger and hate is put to good use other than to spread more anger and hate!
