How is this even newsworthy? He’s garbage and so are the Skins. @londonfletcher…yes those teams above you are far superior considering you do not have a QB, haven’t made the playoffs in who knows how long and end up in the cellar every year of the division.

and calling the Eagles and the Cowboys “Far superior” is just laughable in itself.

I haven’t checked, are the Cowboys a “shoe in” for the SB again this year? Man, those guys are good…

What did Jabar do to tick off the Rat? His numbers were respectable last year; and RG3 is going to need all the weapons at WR he can get, given the fact that the Redskins RB stable is down to the ball boy and the ghost of Timmy Smith.

He wont fetch anything better than a 5th rounder. Also, cracks me up to see all this Redskins bravado. Granted, RGIII will be a stud, but may never become an elite QB. (their is a difference: see Michael Vick)) He certainly wont bring an immediate Playoff berth. It could take years and may never happen at all, especially in a Division with Giants, Eagles and Cowboys all far superior. I feel real bad for Skins fans if RGIII is a bust… franchise is gone for a decade or more.

Wish Gaffney the best. Solid and underrated WR. Just doesn’t fit the Skins plans. They want a young receiving corp to grow with RG3. Moss fills the role of the vet. Between Garcon, Morgan, Moss, Hankerson, Paul, Armstrong and Banks…they still have too many WRs on the roster without Gaffney. Also, cutting or trading Gaffney saves $2.5M in cap space. You could probably get a 4 for him, in a bubble. As is, everyone knows he is going to be gone, they will just wait until after the draft and grab him as a FA and keep the pick. A late 6th or 7th is possible from a team with a bunch of picks, but they will not get a 4th for him

Buffalo is always looking to upgrade their receiving core, but the big problem is Gaffney isn’t any better than their current slot receiver David Nelson. He might be worth a 6th rounder if he leaves his baggage in D.C.

He’s not the receivers coach anymore, Ike Hilliard is the receivers coach. This happened a while back.

I don’t mind seeing Gaffney go. I hope they can get a draft pick for him. Shanahan has been pretty good at getting value for guys who everyone thought they’d have to release, i.e. McRibb and the Albert.

Also, I love the hacked Twitter excuse. That’s a good one. You can vent and say whatever you want and then claim you were hacked, as if anyone would believe it and all will suddenly be forgiven.

Shanahan is looking for character guys now. They’ve had enough of crap like this happening.
