After 11 seasons as a starting offensive tackle for the Patriots, Matt Light sounds like he knows whether he wants to keep going or call it a career. But he doesn’t sound like he wants to let anyone else in on his decision.

Mike Rodak of ESPNBoston.com reports that Light talked to reporters about a charity event he’s participating in on Wednesday, but clammed up when asked if he has a timetable for determining his future.

“No, not really. Although my wife has a pretty good idea on what is going to happen with me,” Light said. “She keeps me pretty busy.”

Several reports have said Light is leaning toward retirement, but he is not ready to say anything publicly yet.

“You know, at this point, I’m just kind of taking it day by day,” Light said. “We’ll see how it goes. Sooner than later.”
